Totally.  Very little is more crushing to the spirit, than to have a complete lock on the game, only to have your Eternity on the bottom.  If I had a second one, I'd use it - but the worst has only happened to me once, out of many games.

You don't really need a second Eternity to make it deckout proof, just one reverse time/rewind.

Does anyone know how much electrum would be received when this deck wins in platinum?

Just tried out one of my own variants, assuming you EM with a full 500HP you can get around 750 score and 1500 electrum. Of course, the reward varies together with the platinum reward and you can get much, much more for beating top decks.

Versions like the one TorB used can still be profitable, you just need some tricks to beat SoFo.

This is what I came up with after some trial and error. Only winning 25% or so, but the losses are usually obvious in the first few turns. Which is good because the wins are taking 15-20 minutes lol. But its worth it to see an opponents field full of sofos they can't use.

Edit: Can't figure out why my image isn't right, but the mark is life, and there are 2 quints. 1 for my mito'd sofo and 1 for the antimatter target.
