Step 1: Take Xenocidius' "Pestal 101"
Step 2: Replace pests with ash eaters, vamps with firebolts, eclipse with Fahrenheit
Step 3: Do pro Tower Pend split on aether quanta for the hell of it
Step 4: ???
Step 5: PROFIT
So the idea here is to amass a lot of
quanta through fire pend spam + fractal ash eaters. Obviously you could accomplish a similar result through just making a mono fire, but I do ever so love the ability to add moar cards to your deck through fractal, and I do ever so love quanta generating creatures. Throw in the massive tick damage from a field full of brimstone eaters, and you've got a concept at least worth exploring.
The deck works fine enough against AI3 I suppose, I can typically get enough ash eaters out quick enough outrush the opponent before they get any AoE CC or a shield out, and by then firebolts and fahrenheit's can finish the job. Fastest game so far's only been 6 turns, longest was 9, obviously more testing is needed.
So why is this in Deck help and not duo-decks? Well, I feel like it could be better. Like I said, all I've done here is copy Xeno's Pestal and changed the elements around. I'm no expert in efficiency nor balance, hell I'm a terrible deck builder all things considered. But I like this idea and want to work with it. So gimme a hand, and let's build this masterpiece together.
Possible tweaks I've thought of: Moar firebolts, add deflags, add minor phoenices, add sobra?
