I really enjoy rainbow control, and a good build can win about half the time. I always seem to have bad luck bottomdecking supernovas, so I've never gone that route for FGs. (I tried a speedbow for an ai3 farmer once and after losing due to no supernovas/discarding for the first 6 turns or so multiple times I gave up :p)
This is the deck I currently use. It probably isn't 100% optimal because I include SoSes and Mindgates to make things more fun, but they're still good cards, and the deck does well against most FGs. The notable failure is Eternal Phoenix, with a win rate of like 1%, but all other gods being at least doable, from 10-20% (DG, rainbow) to 90%+ (neptune, decay), and averaging somewhere around low 50%s. If you don't have the purple nymphs, antimatters or pandemoniums (both upped) are good substitutes, and are what I used before getting the nymphs.

Blanks are SoSes. (2 upped 1 unupped) The bone wall was thrown in as an experiment after the SoG nerf, when I changed the deck up a bit. It used to have 6 SoGs, and I took them out for +2 sancs, the mindgates, the SoSes and the bone wall. I think I also removed another card or two at the same time as the SoGs, since that adds up to 8 cards, but I forget what. The deck is quite quanta starved to start, and might benefit from a couple more towers in place of a Sose/bonewall or some such, but whatever; it's at least a good start, and the nice thing with rainbow control is you can customize it quite a bit to suit your own tastes/card collection.
