Also, if something like poison has you at the throat, you're going to want all the "attackers" to be healing you. Getting rid of the Entropy quanta works in your favor here too.

You were so close! The second statement is correct, but not for the reason you provided: Diss Shield will still block creature shots using the quanta generated at the end of the turn. Although it's not as much of an issue if you don't have many pillars out, I made a mistake in assuming that zeroing my
would automatically destroy the shield.
Also, poison very rarely gets to the point where playing SoSac will cause it to heal you to full health in two turns. Any and all creature healing would still help.
