HP/Quanta Leech Deck. https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=9412.msg111165#msg111165
« on: July 09, 2010, 06:58:12 pm »
This is my first attempt at a deck. It's probably been done before (and perhaps trashed; I don't know), but just in case it hasn't:

Code: [Select]
7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t8 7t8 7t9 7t9 7ta 7tb 7td 7td 7td 7td 7td 7td 808 808 808 808 808 808 80h 80i 80i 80i 80i

- Mark of Darkness (More Quanta).
- Obsidian Tower x8 (Darkness Quanta for creatures).
- Pest x4 (Quanta Leech).
- Improved Dusk x2 (Protection, vital until you have Vampires out).
- Improved Steal x2 (Permanent control).
- Eclipse x1 (Damage, and therefore HP stealing, boost).
- Vampire Dagger x1 (Damage and more HP stealing).
- Vampire x6 (HP stealing).
- Aether Tower x6 (Aether Quanta for Fractal).
- Quintessence x1 (Protect Vampire until Fractalled).
- Fractal x4 (Multiply Vampire and summon when Darkness Quanta allows).

Usage: Put down Towers and Pests as fast as you can for Quanta. Then stall with Dusk and Vampire Dagger (if it is in your hands). Summon Vampires and boost with Eclipse. Quintessence a Vampire if you think it might be destroyed. Fractal on Vampire and if you have the Quanta, summon them all. If you need more Quanta, and can invest a little Dark and Aether, Fractal a Pest to get your opponent on their last nerves.  Steal vital permanents (Powerful Shields, Discord, maybe Lobo and Eternity). Sit back and watch your monsters deal damage and keep you healthy, while also denying Quanta from your opponent. They'll also have the Improved Dusk to worry about.

The problems I see is the need for lots of Darkness Quanta, so maybe more Pests, less Vampires. Also an adjustment in the number of Darkness and Aether towers. Maybe even use Minors instead of the upped Vampires?

VERSION 2 (Thank you Selenbrant):

Code: [Select]
7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t6 7t8 7t8 7t9 7t9 7ta 7tb 7td 7td 7td 808 808 808 808 808 808 80i 80i 80i 80i

- Mark of Darkness (More Quanta).
- Obsidian Tower x5 (Darkness Quanta for creatures). (-3 from last deck).
- Pest x6 (Quanta Leech). (+2 from last deck).
- Improved Dusk x2 (Protection, vital until you have Vampires out).
- Improved Steal x2 (Permanent control).
- Eclipse x1 (Damage, and therefore HP stealing, boost).
- Vampire Dagger x1 (Damage and more HP stealing).
- Vampire x3 (HP stealing).  (-3 from last deck).
- Aether Tower x6 (Aether Quanta for Fractal).
- Fractal x4 (Multiply Vampire and summon when Darkness Quanta allows).

- Quintessence removed.
- 5 less cards in total.

Feedback appreciated.

NOTE: Obviously made in trainer.

Add 2 Pest you need them in your start hand. Remove 3 Towers your fractaled Pest will give you enough quanta. Remove quint you dont have any "important" creature to protect. Remove 4 Vamps you can still fractal them. Now you have 29 cards maybe add a further steal or eclipse.

Thanks for the help. I've updated the deck.

Instead of removing 4 vampires, I removed 3, since that is where the main damage is coming from, and the player would need to draw it at a critical time to ensure a win.

- Improved Steal x3 (Permanent control). (+1 from last deck).
....
You didnt add 1 Steal ;).
Here is a really similar deck by Terroking. It uses  :aether mark instead, but added 2 Towers to balance the darkness quanta.

I knew someone would've thought of this earlier. Oh well, it's a pretty nice idea. Thanks for the feedback.
