Rewind Deck https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=8823.msg102959#msg102959

I've been toying with the idea of a rewind deck that should, in theory, be able to stall practically all decks.

We all know rewind and eternity put monster cards back on the top of an opponent's deck but what if you could do that for the entire match!

I've been trying to find a combination of getting flying Eternities out on the field, possibly readiness sharding them and then rewinding their monsters every turn so they never draw anything new. There are only a few cards that counter this (such as the hourglass) but few AIs make use of them leaving them stuck in a perpetual loop.

However I'm having trouble trying to get the balance right - I know the idea is sound, just it seems rather hard to put into practice so I was wondering if anyone could help  :)

I've tried a couple of Time/Aether combinations but it still feels as though it could do better. I reckon the Time with the aether mark has the most hope but I'm really missing those quintessences and don't really like the anubi in there!

One thing I must say, playing Eternity, making it flying weapon, shard of readiness, twin universe and then quintessencing all in one turn rawks  :D

Add a photon to both of those decks. Eternities deal only 4 damage, so any sort of meager healing, stalling, etc. etc. will cause you to deck out.

True.

I'm mainly working for a complete stall first and then sort out damage and the rest later.

Just can't seem to get the balance right or know what else to include :/

Maybe some  :earth? 2-4 Graboids for damage, in addition some PA´s and quicksands will prevent your opponent playing the card you rewinded again.

Hmm nice idea - No new cards and no new quanta; that should screw everyone up :P

And the graboids would indeed make for some cheap damage!

I'll try soemthing along those lines...

Maybe something like this?
