Trying for a combo that seems like it's made to order but can't get it working.

5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61s 61s 61s 61s 61s 61v 61v 624 624 624 624 624 624 8ps

Rip away guys... is it too mono-thematic to be effective? I left out phase shield because it's more of a liability, and the idea isn't to shield damage, it's to lock the opponent down, playing the same card every other turn until you have enough damage on the board to finish him off. I left out shards because I
m trying to build without, although SoW would be a great fit and make this deck much faster. I'm trying to do it without so I can play friends who don't have any yet.

It works so much better with SoW, think I'll just give up on playing it without..

I'm glad to see that you added pends so that you can RT+Silence chain for successive turns.  I'm a bit worried about the 4x immortals though.  Given that you have no shields, I wonder if you can last long enough to take the opponent down, since on average, you will only have about 12-16 damage/turn (2 immortals +1 to 2 SoWs) by the time you are 8 turns into the game, not taking shields into account (for unSoWed immortals).  Needs more damage imo. although I must say, I love the RT+silence combo.

Also, if you can somehow fit it in, an eternity would be fantastic.

I appreciate the comments - I've been trying really hard to build wep-free/shard-free decks, just because I have some beginner friends and I hate overpowering them with unbalanced cards, etc. As it is, there would definitely be enough time quanta to run an eternity. I'm still not sure about the pillar/pendulum mix - in a game right now and I'm pretty short on aether quanta.

Well, if you're putting in SoWs, you might as well put in Eternities.

Perhaps you could make two versions, and have one be more noob-friendly. However, in both versions, perhaps you could take out a rewind and a silence in favor of more damage?

What's the synergy between rewind + silence, besides of being both annoying?

Rewind puts a card back on the deck, and Silence prevents you from playing it, essentially setting you back a turn, I think.

If you silence + RT chain you can also gum up their next few draws

Have you tried psion or phase spider? Faster rushiness in exchange for some fragility.

That actually will be really good in the newbie friendly deck. The SoW/Eternity version seems to do fine in the damage department.

I think it sets you back 2 turns ... you're redrawing a card you already played AND ... you can't play it!  I tried this before and wish it worked better ... Let's work on it!!!

So the only drawback I may see with RT + silence is that even if you silence the person so they can't play the creature again right afterwards... the silence has a chance of not doing anything anyway.  Usually you'll RT their most expensive creature, and a lot of the time, a person can't always replay their most expensive creature for a turn anyway.

I'm not saying it's a bad combo idea... I'd use it just to annoy pvpers :D

I decided to try something like it, (but upped) and I'm thinking about putting in precogs as extra cards... since there's already :time, why not.  You get to see their cards and silence them at the best opportunity... predict what will happen, and silence accordingly.
Of course, I don't know if there would be enough :time unupped; as upped, both rewinds and precogs cost only 1 :time (same as 6 RTs unupped)
cheers ^.^
