I just created this deck. I'm looking for it to be competitive, but fun. I'd like to do this for reasonably cheap, and without any rare cards (I know Eternity is the Weapon I'll need to pick later on). Any help is much appreciated! Thanks!

(I haven't had enough high-level training with this deck to know what it fails against)

Well, as far as I can see, you may be having problems drawing your mummies, or deckout problems, since your deck has only 5 creatures, and it's quite slow... IDK what the solution can be, but trying to make rewinded mummies a deck won't be easy (I understand some people tried), so good luck :D

Add some more creatures (more mummies if you can, possibly scarabs and pharoahs as well).  My only other suggestion is add Eternity if you have it.

He said no rares... But the scarabs aren't a bad idea at all :D

Thanks! Would Vulture be a good addition to this deck?

If you can find room, then yes.  If not, then just keep it mummy scarab centric.

Another mummy. It has a fair amount of attack so 6 is good and you will draw them more.
Take dagger out for a long sword.
What do you have the gravity pendulums in there for?

-1 sword +1 mummy would be the way to go, the deck is fine as it is. Though I do see some death quanta/time quanta extra production.

well, no rares implies for me no upgrades.

furthermore, this deck is going to be really slow...no way around that, imho.

my ideas:
- increase cards to 35-40 (prevent decking out)
- take mark of gravity, remove all grav pends -> mark should give you all quanta you need.
- add 1-2 catapults, for late game damage
- add some scarabs - 3-4?
- add 2. time shield - you need one early to stay alive
- 6 mummies is a must - remove dagger as mentioned before
- add one or two hourglasses - needed to speed up deck
- maybe add 1 chimera for a late game surprise ;)
- maybe 1-2 momentums to bypass enemies shields - deck lacks permanent control^^
- dont know about quanta balance...you might try mostly deaths pends...but i would probably use about 60% death pends and 40% time pillars...

the resulting deck isnt as much focussed as the current deck, but i think it would be more flexible...

Thanks for the tips! Here's my current deck! Funplay- Chimeras wouldn't have devour, and having just a gravity mark won't be enough gravity, but I liked your other tips! (I just can't afford another hourglass because of electrum)

I was just curious and ran a few test runs in trainer against AI2: the deck won, but it was close sometimes^^
- its really slow...mummies wont appear before turn 5-6^^
- skip that sword, it wont matter
- this build is quite short on quanta
- remove 1 hourglass, maybe even both...i never had enough time quanta to use it^^

edit:
Meanwhile, i have to agree with Dm1321: Keep it focussed. The focussed Version can beat some AI3, but not very reliable...any good creature control (e.g. a single lobotomizer) kills this deck...anyway, here is the current version:

Code: [Select]
52t 52t 52t 52t 52t 52t 542 542 542 542 542 542 542 55q 55q 576 576 576 576 576 5rj 5rj 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rq 5rq
- use a rewind on enemies creatures to slow them down, all you need is 2 pharaohs - further mummies should stay mummies
- getting your shield out is essential to survive
- momentum can be used to increase a scarab just the one needed point to devour sth.
- choose 1 or 2 "premium" scarabs...if no enemy is there to eat, eat your own scarabs...the deck lacks some damage, therefore some scarabs have to grow continously
