help with a deck please https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=7933.msg89117#msg89117

I just picked up a purple nymph from the oracle the other day and I kind of want to build a deck that revolves around it. I just started playing so I don't know what would be the best option for this kind of deck. mono, duo, rainbow. Right now I am using my beginners deck which is darkness. It's got 4 obsidian dragons I can sell to help make a new deck if needed. any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

purple nymphs are great to have in general, I really want one so that I can put it in my false god killer which is Puppychow's Entropy Rainbow (the best around in my opinion) http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,1748.0.html
of course that'll take a lot of upgrading and such and is pretty far in the future.
for now...if you want something revolving around it try using the combo purple nymph/antimatter and liquid shadow- damages creature and opponent and heals you
but I wouldn't recommend doing something revolving around the nymph right now...work towards being able to make Puppychow's deck, which could use the nymph nicely.  sell the obsidian dragons and make a good AI3 grinder (I recommend shrieker/graboid rush, whatever works really), then start building this http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,1615.0.html to fight false gods. over time upgrade that deck and eventually transition into Puppychow's deck

are you sure?

Puppy's rainbow is very nicely compacted now, awesome deck as it is

Adding a purple nymph will slow your card draw, and it wont be quinted, so it will get hit.
I had mine many months now, everytime I just add it in, it makes the deck worst.... Sadly

So I went out and build a deck for it :)

true, it might be slower and less compact. but my version uses 3 quints anyways one of which could be used on the nymph (1 on oty, one on druid/FFQ, one on nymph). and since standard puppy uses very little entropy quanta I added 2 antimatters which i love, and exchanging them for a purple nymph would be more compact :P
but idk, have you tested it out a lot? then youre probably right being the smarto you are

Yes, i tested it alot :)

2 antimatter cost 12, nymph cost 13
But nymph has 1 turn delay, and since you want to usually antimatter the big things first, like a dragon. Letting it hit you for an extra turn is not very good

I haven't really found a place for any nymphs in my decks. Is this just me?

I've made use of the air nymph in a unstable gas deck. She's useful, but not essential.
