I never said you would. But doing simple math..

5 sundials = 5 light quanta = 3 Supernova's, considering 1 supernova turn 2 as usual, that's 2 light quanta that goes for 2 sundials, and by the time you spend the 2 light quanta, you will have drawn other Supernova's. RoL's not needed, but they fit in the deck, of course. It's stupid to try to speed up things on the first 2 turns because it's not like you will be able to play anything either way.

its not stupid considering that photons/RoL may mess up your mulligan and therefore having RoLs may help you prevent several bad hands and speed up your game in the first turns

RoL is still free. If mulligan messes up you will have one RoL and one to two dials. You will only be able to play and pay for one dial at a time, and all others go to waste. You also waste stalling power from the sundials in those two first matches, in which you most likely will see very little creatures. Further on, your hand will be clogged by the 1 RoL = 1 Sundial draw and you will end up with eight cards in hand and possibly have to discard in the first few turns, for you have no quanta either way. And only thing to play would be towers.

its better to play the sundial and be able to draw an extra card the next turn to make up for the bad hand than discard it
you should only have to wait 2 turns most of the games to play the supernovas so the other sundials wont be useless
its more important to set up the strategy quicker than worrying about losing potential creature stall on those first sundials

If you have a bad hand and you draw with sundial you will more likely than not only clog your hand up more. I never said the other sundials won't be useless, but yes that you're wasting the first few sundials either way. If you had a bad hand playing a RoL and a Dial will not necessarily help you set up the strategy quicker, unless you draw a Tower. 'kthxforreadingkissesdon'treply!
