Any ideas for an unupped PVP deck that beats mono aether AND golem rush?

I am going to PVP my friend who (hopefully) is going to use either a lava golem rush(immolation, golems, rainbow) OR a mono aether stall rush ( dim shields, phase dragons, immortals)

Any ideas?

I was thinking of either a mind flayer steam machine trio deck or a charger + lobo deck.


EDIT!!! Argh... he used a flying titan PU deck instead:(.... any ideas to beat <<< or ^^^ AT THE SAME TIME??? I was thinking a SPAM flying titan + charger rush...

I find a decent rushbow usually beats both. Golem rushes thanks to Fog Shield and CC, and Aether stall thanks to poison, Deflags and Momentum.

Okay, something that  can beat golem AND mono aether is a deck with - Fire Bucklers AND deflags. That could be just mono-fire, so it's easy to build.

Golem rushes have Deflags, so I wouldn't bet my bacon on the very expensive Fire Shield. CC is much more effective, and can't be stopped.

Then bet your hamburger on a RoF that is even more expensive but CC's better. But the effect does not stack, plus the fact that it is unfortunate that if you use it too late, it won't kill a thing. Lava Golems have 1 hp, so after they are played they automatically die because of Fire Buckler. I just won't bet my bacon because I ate it

Of course they die. That's not a problem. Deflags are. RoF is very ineffective, since Golems grow. You'll kill one Golem and only injure another in most cases with that. Rage Potion and Bolts are much better in that case. However, a rushbow has Lightnings and will like Freeze.

Well, the RoF won't kill much, but you would need quite the quantum with Fire Bolt to kill it, too. Also, rage pot's.. meh. I use them for buffing myself more then CC. Just for whatever of it, then, a Arctic squid + Shockwave would be great too. Or not even arctic squid, just the ice shield itself.

hm... a fire shield rush sounds like a good idea...
but what about attacking? hm... i have NOT played a golem rush OR a mono aether, so im really not very sure what its about.

Ice shield + shockwave seems good, but i can't think of a good shockwave deck. add toadfishes maybe?

It goes against all my principles (more then 2 shields, etc.) but it might work. Something that derivates would be a deflag for the weapon or something like that.

If you don't have arctic squids, exchange them for moar dragons. You could also make a build with air pendulums and nymph's tear with some splashed fire (Unstable Gases) which kills and deals damage. ^^
