Well, 5 attack for 8 cost is awful for an hitter, and as stated, gaining two
quanta is gonna be very hard, especially as you can only target one creature.
Other ways of protection would be Quintessence, doing the same as Anubis' (and Turquoise Nymph's) ability as a spell, but it still costs 4
, and you have to draw it early to make use of it. Cloak is the other way, protecting your entire field, but runs for only 3 turns and is disabled by permanent control and area of damage spells.
You see, it is hard to save your Eggs successfully without Shard of Readiness. For now, you should just focus on getting your strategy on as early as possible, with a bit of stall to buy yourself time. Eternity is perfect for that, but Reverse Time and Procrastination (time shield) help too. Removing 'Other' cards completely will surely make it impossible for you to use abilities of non-

creatures, but allows for much more consistency. For damage, you should be fine most of the time with your never-ending hatch support. If you still find room, feel free to add Ghost of the Past or Devonian Dragon, with the possibility to mitosis them in case of high time quanta.
