Why some cards

Spark - early summon/Otyugh fodder
Dimensional Shield to hold off opponent's monsters while you eat them
Phase Dragon - Just incase all else fails break glass XD

Weaknesses:

If it's possible, you could always look into a couple upgraded photons (ray of lights) and normal blessings. Let them sit out for a bit to gather some light energy, then eat them. The blessings would help with the lack of damage your deck seems to have, and you wouldn't need to add new pillars to your deck.

I'd also look into a few lightnings.

I wouldn't recommend it. If you PU a momentumed oty it will no longer be able to eat anything other than your own quanta.

IMO th big advantage that sparks have over photons is that on the rare occasion that you oty's are reduced to 1 hp, you can still eat something with them.

ok should i run both or just one of them both are easy summons and fodders as well?

well i would run one or the other. and both i would use the same way. i would play them only when i can use them. other wise leaving photon out invites destruction. at which point it would be useless to you. and since it does only one damage it really wouldn't be much use to play early. but that is just my opinion. i haven't tested the difference (although once i was playing a grav/aether deck and my oty was reduced to 1 hp and a spark did save my oty) and i don't have a whole lot of experience in deck building, this is based entirely on on observation

i'm testing out having both and works pretty good and i do play photons early but they do help even if the only do 1 dmg per turn it adds up later

yeah isn't it funny how much those little attacks help. seems really stpid but it does work.

 i just changed the deck again so i can give my otyugh's some HP help against bigger creatures

that deck would probably be extremely prone to bad draws, but with the dimensional shields you might be able to slow down your opponent long enough to get the cards you need on the table so......maybe it would work.
