GotP and Nightmare with Darkness mark - help with side cards

So I've been running a duo time / dark with GotP and Nightmare but I've been having trouble trying to find the right amount of cards/ side (utility) cards and want someone to review what i have tried so far and which (in your opinion is the best). ATM this deck is farming bronze arena, doing ok at silver and failing gold. It beats lvl 4's with a good hand and cannot beat a FG. In all consideration this deck is semi-rush as i usually draw all 30 of my cards fast with the double hourglass.

Below are listed different versions of the deck and the one I am currently running. I'm not sure if I should run precognition or reverse time in this deck.  is not a problem, so buying cards wont get in the way. I was considering swapping this deck to a shard of readiness/pharaoh with gravity for a mark but it's not as fun as GotP.

At a glance, try 4 nightmares and 6 GoTP.
Steals make sense.
Use eternity over vampire dagger.
Get the deck down to 30 cards. That means remove the daggers, 2 nightmares and an hourglass.

I don't know how effective Ghostmare truly is. All I know is it can't grind FGs and it shouldn't be able to grind gold.

RT > precog in ghostmare. What kills your opponent is not the damage of discarding (in PvP you'll find that people tend to how the cards so that nightmare fills less their hands) but preventing him from drawing stuff to remove your ghosts from the board.

Your "basic ghostmare" is not basic. Basic uses rewinds doesn't have shields, and doesn't use 3 weapons.

Your redone one has to many weapons. At most you need two. And need rewinds. 

Larger ghostmares don't work as well, you want combo cards asap.


http://elementscommunity.org/forum/duo-decks/ghostmare/ the first one, barring the nymph is a simplistic ghostmare. Someone else, snowweb or 10 men, have the most basic ghostmare posted somewhere.

Keep it simple. And ghostmare REALLY wants rewinds. Otherwise rushes are a LOT harder to deal with.

well im not going to do a repost of a deck that's already been made. so that basic deck is my basic deck not someone elses. also not having shield is suicide. 50% damage reduction. i used eternities instead of rewinds as it reduces amount of cards in the deck.

The shield is not good for the deck. Eternity is much better. Its damage, and draw denial, which just compliments the deck further. Do tell, why you would want a shield over more denial or more ghosts?

The first big "issue" imho is that you upped first creatures, eternities and other stuff, while first cards to upgrade were pillars.

Said that, Ghotmare can be made in several ways: adding steals, dusk muntle, precog, etc...

Since the main combo deck is Nightmare on GotP, this deck can be runned with RT, like this:

To Crockett: Eternity, as some other people have already said, is more like a denial weapon; but it's also true that negating a draw it's a way to "stall".

It doesnt stop them from drawing, no they meerly draw a card again while the card they were going to draw isnt for 1 turn delay. Thus its a stall not a denial. And as adrentimpa pointed out, it has indirect denial oppurtunites because they have to pay for the same creature again BUT thats if they play it again. If they dont play it again, then its not denying them. So eternity/reverse time is a gurentee'd stall weapon with a big chance to denial thus why I called it a stall weapon.
