Sanctuaries heal you up while Rage Pots blast away enemy creatures. Golden Dragons seal the deal and can be buffed up with Rage Pots to make super (expensive) attackers. Works reasonably well vs AI3 and in PvP, though I wish Light had a cheaper damage dealer. Azure Dragon would be great. I also sometimes go for Lightnings with Aether mark.

No. Unupped angels only do 1 damage and I need the Rage Pots for enemies most of the time.

Try using blessings maybe? (Probably with photons - in that case, you'd be better off with thunderbolts since the rage potions would be pretty useless as buffs.)

Alternatively, you could switch the deck around and turn it into a crusader + fahrenheit deck. Honestly I don't know if that would be any better, but it would keep your current duo.

Or maybe use phoenixes for damage and a light mark for sancs.

I don't think he wants to make entirely different decks. Rage pot > blessing in terms of damage output. Even with a hit from rage pot, the only cc that one shots it is lighting bolts, assuming he chooses to use it on the dragons and not use it for CC.

Add light pendulums and fire shields, so you can use more rage potions for damage.

I think he's trying to use the fire pots strictly for attacking, but I guess if he's stuck, a fire shield wouldn't be too bad. It would essentially slow down the entire deck though.

I thought I was pretty clear in the OP but I don't think people are really getting it. The basis of this deck is to stall through the healing from Sanctuary and the CC through Rage Potions, similar in principal to Firestall. You eventually bring out the hard hitting and hard to kill Golden Dragons where excess Rage Pots can be used to bolster their attack.

@Mesaprotector: Blessed Photons aren't very good. That's two cards and 3 Light for only 4 Damage. I've tried Farenheit Crusaders and it doesn't work especially well and asides that's an entirely different strategy. You can't run Sancs off of your mark, and even if you could you want them out early not spread out through the game like Rage Pots. You could do a Pendulum/Pillar type quanta production but that's less stable than a Pillar/Mark layout.

@Patch could work, though the quanta production would be difficult to manage.

This is kind of a weird design based off of the The Freakout (Totally Different Life/Fire/Bow) (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=12126.0)

Especially when using light it is fairly common for RoL to be your first upgrades so i felt it might be appropriate for this cause.

In PvP the element of surprise can be a powerful thing. In this case you see a normal light deck, sancs, light mark, light pillars but once the opponent leaves something vulnerable you immolate and rage pot or deflag. Things like grabbows, or adrenavamps will not burrow/cloak if they sense no danger.

This deck would also work as a decent counter to discord. immolation does a decent job preventing huge scrambles allowing you to play sanc and sanc stops it cold. It might be a little less consistant than the OP, but i think it might be a little more fun.

Deflags are added from the original because dim shields are popular in PvP and the AI3's have things like Bonds and dim shields.

However if you want to not use the immolation version and wish to make the initial deck better, I would try to tweak it in the firestall direction but adding a few light pends and fire bolts. This doesnt mean you have to stall and bolt them, you can still use your dragons, just more CC, more reliably can always help.
