Friend's poison spam deck https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=8293.msg94495#msg94495
« on: June 17, 2010, 08:33:54 pm »
I introduced my friend to Elements and asked him if I could tweak his deck, and I tweaked it to something kind of poisoney. (he started with Death.) He loved it, so i set him up with some Chrysaora. Eventually, I tweaked his deck to something like this: (he uses aflatoxin on the photons, because he fooled around in trainer and he liked it)
Code: [Select]
52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52n 52n 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52p 52p 52p 52s 52s 52s 5i5 5i5 5i5 5i5 5i5 5l9 5l9 5l9
Some questions.
1. What should he upgrade first?
2. Any suggestions for what he should put in?
3. Should he take anything out?
4. What should his rare weapon be for his 500 point quest? (Both him and me are pointing toward Arsenic, but we don't know yet.)

Chrysaoras. They do 2 more damage, which is great.

You want to ultimately end up with a 30 card deck, because those are the fastest and smoothest. So:

+1 Chrysaora
+1 Poison (The theme of this deck is Poison, so you should concentrate on it)
+2 Bonewall (More useful than Boneyard, especially because because you already have Aflatoxin)
-3 Photon (You can always use Aflatoxin on Chrysaoras)
-2 Boneyard
-1 Plague
-1 Bone Pillar

That will give you 30 cards.

Hm. Later on, you'll want to build a False God deck in which a Pulverizer and an Eternity are key to. I'd suggest taking either one of these. The Arsenic is useful but not necessary to this deck; one of these False God rare weapons would be more useful in the long term.

Take an eternity. You can use butterfly effect in place of pulverizer, but there's no way of replacing rewind on a stick.

The thing is, he isn't really playing for that long and that seriously. And the other thing is, I find eternity's extremely easy to find, and if I set him up with the same farming deck I use, he will be finding bunches too.

These are both true. My 3rd T50 game gave me an Eternity :)

And if he's planning to play just for fun, then, yes, an Arsenic would be prudent. It could be replaced with a Plague. I would upgrade it before the Chrysaoras.

a skull buckler may also help meaning you can afla enemy creatures as well cause they won't be able to attack.

That's what the plague is for, creature control. He doesn't need very much of it though, it's pseudo-rush.

Exactly. No need to Aflatoxin opposing creatures. Just rush with Poison and Cells. Bonewalls and Plagues will increase win percentage, however.
