Fractal/Mummy/Cat deck...kinda ridiculous https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=36594.msg459276#msg459276

Basically I'm tweaking this deck around, trying to figure out a way to maximize what I guess would be an ideal rush of mummies, flesh spiders, or even bone dragons.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work all that great, with that being said the first match I managed to devastate a level 4, afterwards not so lucky. It is alright against level 3's, maybe winning 55-60% of the matches, but I'm looking for perhaps a quicker, or even heavier hitting deck. I think that maybe to take out the flesh spiders and bone dragons and go with all mummies.

Any help would be great, thanks.

I was also thinking that maybe a cat/vulture deck might not be a bad idea, if I were to get lucky on the draw, perhaps something like the following:

Really though I have no damn clue what I'm doing and am really just bored of using the same old deck since I can recall.

for the first deck...

go with only mummies. they are your best choice as a rush creature due to high attack/cost ratio, but leave the dragons as well for late-game heavy critters, as you may end with a lot of spare  :death quanta, you may choose fractal the dragons instead

drop the spiders, arsenic and try to cut down the deck to only 30 cards for a better performance overall

now the second deck...

vultures are not what you should be using there, or at least not so many of them as main critters (too slow)
have you tried to fractal spark with vultures on the field for massive damage with lots of death effects to grow those vultures? you would like that combo i think
you could drop those cats, make it a duo, put 2 dragons too and possibly a bonewall
change the mark to death, possibly take out those pendulums, change them with aether pillars and out some soul catchers and 2 bonewalls

Hi SamuraiZach0!

I like you're idea so I played with it and here's what I think's going wrong:
- Not enough Cats,
- Not enough Soul Catchers,
- Too many Fractals,
- Too many Aether Pendulums.

Cats don't cost much Entropy and you're unlikely to really have more than 3 out in one game, so replace some of those pendulums with Aether Pillars to help get your Fractals out sooner.

Fractals are a big card, and it only really takes one or two (provided you can play the creatures they give you) to wipe out the enemy. So that you don't get stuck with too many Fractals in hand, cut the number of them and replace them with something that'll help you get the strategy working faster (i.e. Cats and Catchers :-).

I agree with Poker Alho about sticking with the Mummies. If you had upgraded Spiders I would say use those, but forget spending all that money on spiders (They're only like, my favorite card. See <-- lol)

And definitely use boneshield. That way, in the unthinkable event that somebody Rains Fire on your poor Mummys' rotten asses, you will at least be compensated with a giant wall of bones. That ought to buy vital time while you get the mummies rolling again.

Here's what I came up with...

Remember you can always Fractal cats if you're desperate, or if it'd just make up the damage you can't afford in Death Quanta, or even if you just need cats!

Try it out anyway, maybe it works for you maybe it doesn't =) Either way good luck and keep up the good work!

Thanks for the quick responses.

To Poker Alho, I liked the idea of a spark/vulture combo so I tried that out and it was great, so I will definitely be using that in the near future. I also took out the arsenic, bone dragons and spiders which also ended up working much better. I think I'll be using the spark/vulture combo for PVP's and see how those play out, or maybe to grind bronze, hopefully it works well.

And to UndeadSpider, that deck works wonderfully as well. I did take out one soul catcher and add another fractal to it since I drew a cat, used fractal and pretty much had 50  :death quanta in two turns (not two turns from the start, rather two turns after soul catchers had been played*), and I figured just in case all my cats are managed to be taken out in one turn, or if I have one left in my hand I can have them back in play the next turn, or with mummies. I'm still going to play around a bit with this one since it's fun to use and in my opinion is one of the better decks I have seen that aren't commonly used. I'll definitely be working to get this deck upped ASAP.

Thanks again :)

that deck cannot produce enough  :entropy to fuel the cats ability properly it needs more pendulums
also, 3 fractals will not be enough to have them on demand, 4 is minimum, and like i already said, change some pillars for pendulums, 3 will do, to fuel the cats
