General Purpouse Rainbow Arena Deck https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=57566.msg1178915#msg1178915

I have been using variations of this deck for a while and have been having some success in the arena.  I win about about 70-80% of level 3 games and about 45% of level 4 games.

Given this general deck idea (healing, poison, and field clearing), what suggestions do you have to make it even better?

One specific tactic I've noticed it is very weak to is permanent destruction based decks.  Another technique that often hurts me is anything that produces neurotoxin.

As with any huge deck that can afford it:

Put 6 six of these in. You have no excuse.

Anyway, your deck is quite cluttered, with some cards not helping your purpose.

Remove all cards that have only the sole purpose of attacking: Bone dragon, Flesh spider, Poison, Mummy, Sapphire charger, Hematite golem, forest scorpion, chrysaora, toadfish, firefly queen and physalia. Keep in discord, morning glory and Arsenic as alternative win conditions -  a just in case scenario.
I'd recommend taking luciferin out too, replacing it with heal/miracle. Virus is quite meek, as well.

These cards slow down your deck quite a bit, which is a huge problem because you're playing a large deck. It would be better for you to play an outright stall, trying to deck out your opponent.

Then, once you've finished all of that, just fill your deck with cards that sort out your weaknesses - struggle to permanent destruction? Add in enchant artifact or cloak. Struggle to neurotoxin? Add in purify. I'd add in a good toolbox of removal to deal with most situations and threats. Sanctuaries, deflags, and lightnings are a good start.

I'll let everyone else fill in the gaps, as I'm not good with specific stalls.

-

As a caveat, slower decks tend to make bad decks to use against the AI, as faster decks with similar winrate (and it's not hard to get a deck with good winrate against level4/bronze arena, even unupped) will simply give you more money over the same period of time. You can check for some decks here.

TL;DR: Make the deck a full-on stall, then build an actual arena grinder rush.

I think you are missing a big point here.
If you try to rush your opponent, even with some CC, you want to have only 30 card sin your deck to ensure you draw the cards you need, even if you don't have every single card you can use (you know, there are MANY cards). Big decks are used to deck out your opponent, making them draw their last card and lose. You don't need to deal damage for that.

What is the purpose of your deck?

Against double draw deck it is necessary to add Eternity weapon and some creatures to prevent deckout on your own if you want to win by deck out the opponent. Because double draw decks have also the double amount of cards in the deck.

Eternity isn't needed in larger deck outs by any means. And not having one doesn't mean you will deck out. Plenty of deck outs don't use eternity for more then an emergency piece, which is rarely used.

However, as others said, the deck is far to jumbled right now, what do you want the deck to do?

The deck contains 4 weapons which is too much. And anyway there is no clear structure, what the deck should do. There is a bit of everything.

4 weapons is fine for some decks. Though the decks are focused, like a mono entropy with 4 discords. Multiple are used if you want to draw them early or in case of pc.

However in this case, yes, 4 is bad. There is pretty much zero reason to run 4 different weapons outside of crusaders or flying weapons.

With flying/animate weapon there will be some sense in this deck. But first there must be a structure in this deck.

I took some of your advice:
- removed the virus which was useless
- removed a weapon which wasn't helping
- dropped one of the bone dragons since it was just there for attacking
- upgraded some cards

overall this deck is designed to be a stall-and-poison deck

For a deck that is supposed to be a poison stall, it doesn't have enough of either, and is way to big.
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/trio-quartet/poison-dials-sosac-%28fg%29%28arena%29/ example of a good poison stall.

What's your strategy? Again:
If you want to win with damage, make a 30-card deck grabow/immobow/any rush with some CC and maybe a fog shield like the community-recommended decks. You don't need more than 30 cards for that, it's better to hav eonly 30 so you draw only the cards you most want.

If you want to win by deck-out, you don't need creatures that deal damage at all. Maybe an Otyugh and Maxwell Demon, but all the rest pillars and CC.

If you want to make a poison stall, you don't need damaging creatures either. Focus your deck in a strategy: poison. Phisalias and Poison are your core cards, all you need after that are 2 Arsenics and stally cards: Sundials, healing, shields and CC. With Healing I'm talking about Sanctuaries, Miracles or even Shard of Gratitude but no Luciferin, they suck :P
