These threads did not turn up in my original forum search for some reason. Thanks to andretimpa and omegareaper7 for bringing this to my attention.

Hey everyone! It's been a while, but I've gotten back into playing Elements again, and I could use some help.

So a while ago, I discovered that you can target your opponents towers, pillars, and pendulums with Nymph's Tears. This is pretty nifty, but also pretty impractical, since you're giving your opponent a nymph; who in their right mind would want to do that? Well, I suppose you could say that I'm not in my right mind.

Basically, the idea works as follows:

Step one - SoR an Anubis, so that you can quint it the turn you play it.
Step two - NT one of your water pendulums and quint the Water Nymph (SoR if first if you have a shard available)
Step three - play an eternity, animate weapon, SoR, TU as much as possible, then quint.
Step four - target the opponents towers/pillars/pendulums and RT the Nymphs as soon as they hit the field

If it works, you take away your opponents quanta source and clog their deck and hand with high cost cards, while you whittle away at their health. Pulling this off is extremely satisfying.

That being said, the deck needs work, to say the least. The current iteration I've posted is an approximation of the deck that I created, as I did not think to actually SAVE the deck code when I threw this thing together a few hours ago. The deck in its current state is slow and unreliable, since getting the needed cards for the combo takes multiple turns and multiple draws--the reason for all of the hourglasses. On top of this, the deck lacks enough healing to effectively stall for the time it needs, and adding healing would add an additional element to a relatively quanta-starved deck.  I tried using a permafrost shield, but found that I almost never could get the whopping 7 quanta with the decks current water quanta production, so I replaced it with time's turtle shield.I chose this over Phase/dimensional shields, to avoid making a fat deck even fatter.

To make a long story short, I could use some insight and feedback. Anything about using Quicksands, discords, blackholes, or SoF would not be helpful; I know they're better means of quanta denial. I'm not shooting for straight denial here. On that same token, I know that Nightmare + GoTP is a better hand-clogging strategy, so telling me that won't help me either. In short, if your feedback is to tell me that my idea is stupid, you're not helping. You're correct, but you're also not helping.

One final note: I purposely stayed away from Quantum towers and supernovas/novas. Quantum Towers don't reliably generate the necessary quanta for the deck and they don't give me the nymph that I need, so I would still need water towers/pillars/pendulums.  Novas don't really generate enough reliable quanta for me to justify clogging the deck--and my opening hand mulligan--with them. Supernovas get rid of the problem with the mulligan, but add an additional need to generate Entropy quanta to the deck.

Deck search sucks you are better off asking someone

http://elementscommunity.org/forum/trio-quartet/why-can't-i-hold-all-these-nymphs-(fun)(bronze-ai3)(pvp2)(watertime)/

it's the same idea minus the aether part (which is itself an improvement of older decks).

Sorry about that! I can credit both you and the original original post in the OP, if you'd like.

http://elementscommunity.org/forum/deck-help/new-concept/msg490514/#msg490514 I actually came up with the idea first, though my version was a piece of junk.

Out of all the people who have every played Elements, I really doubt you were the very first person to come up with a simple 2-card combo.

The better way of phrasing that would be to say you *posted* the idea first, which is much more plausible, since the vast majority of decks are never posted.
Somehow still around, somewhat

I'm sure that claiming the idea itself wasn't Omega's intent. No need to worry about the semantics. :)

Maybe not the first to ever think about it, the first deck posted though.
