Cisco, I run a leaner, but mostly upgraded, Rainbow deck, and I'm nowhere near 40% against the False Gods. Rainbow is slow - waiting a few extra turns for the quanta to build up to play removal, such as Oytugh or Eagle's Eye, and staring in disgust as I build up useless quanta. And against many false gods (Seism, Incarnate, Morte) I'm in a huge hole before I'm up and running. The False Gods often have multiple threats up in turn 2, and I can't defend much until turn 4 reliably. How do you handle those early turns? Your deck isn't much different than mine....

Guy42 the deck is pretty reliant on Eagle eye and otugh. The high amount of those cards as well as lots of Hourglasses(upgraded) gives me a pretty good shot in getting one of those out early. I usally don´t bring out a shield untill I´m about to die. I´f you don´t get them out fast enough. You will be reliant on healing. Starting out slow is the main problem with such decks. My new deck has a  small fix on that though. so there are ways.

Dimensional shield is a nice use for the aether quanta. Never tried it though I see alot of people using it.

eNonymous just use elves or suplement theme with anything else.

chaos seed  is a negative affect against your enemy and will not work. Blessing and plate armor would be the cards to suplement it.

Mutation card works only once, so it isn´t of any use.
