Improving my RoL/Hope FG deck

Found this setup of cards in another thread, but so far (keep in mind that I am far from upgrading all my cards) it is not going too well... I find that my RoLs are always owned by either shields or scarabs, and I'm quite annoyed that I spent all this electrum upgrading RoLs if they are not useful. Any tips on improving my deck? Alternatively, which cards should I upgrade first?

The miracle should not be necessary, drop it for another lobotomizer if you have it, which may help improve your chances against Osiris, FFQ, destiny and maybe a few others. After that you could drop a pillar to get down to 30 cards, but since this is the mostly unupped variant, I'm not sure whether that will help a great deal or not.

RoL/Hope only really works with 2-3 Lobos. Preferably 3. It alone renders Fire Queen and Osiris useless, and helps a ton against almost every other FG.

Besides that, split your Pillar/Pend stacks for less vulnerability to Quicksand, then get SoG's in there ASAP.

I would say upgrade the pillars first so you can put out RoL's faster.

How many SoGs should I add? And what should I replace them with?

1-2 for starters. Up to a total of 3-4 when you've upgraded your quanta sources. Upgrading Pillars/Pends is high priority as well, indeed.

And electrocutor is a good card to uppgrade too cuz the upped capacity's cost is only 1.

I used RoL/Hope during Autumn and Winter 2010. Arrived at that version for even more speed. There's an upgrade priority list there as well.

Nevermind for upped cards i got all/enough gold to uppgrade anything.

I use 3 lobos( now upgraded) 2 shards of gr... 8 pillars ( now upgraded ).

Shards help a lot when you are w8ing for hope or fractal to cast or somethines lobo it all depends . I started with 1 shard, 4 pillars ,5 pendulums, 5 fractal ,2 dragons ,4 hope ,3 lobotomizers ,6 RoL and played only AI 6 for 3 days ( now whole day...) now i have about 40 upgraded cards , a lot of electrum and a smile )

Graviton is impossible decay too like octane.
Neptune is nightmare I won one time but with dragon (cuz he didn't draw dragon so I can stall with only 5 RoL and I keep having 2 dragon in the play and kill him through his perma shield under the flooding..
Akebono is very hard, as dark matter but this last can be beat with a good hand/draw (I beat him few times)
hermes is very hard and impossible if he draw his fire shield; minor phenix is killable with skill (I have just beat him got 3 upped cards
