Shards of Patience (all the blanks) decks have been posted before, and I'm sure that this one is nothing new. I just like the potential of creating a bunch of 10/10 creatures (only 2 SoP needed when combined with inundation) to annihilate the opponent. The problem is that--like many SoP decks out there--this deck is not really all that viable. The Phylasia has been picked solely because it is the cheapest water creature out there and the inundations eat up quanta pretty fast. I tried the same thing with mind flayers, but it was even less reliable. This deck is primarily for fun, but I'd like to know if anyone has any ideas on how to make it a little less sucky.

Innundation only floods the edge positions of the field, so only the 6+ creature will receive the 4|4 buff. I belive that a single speed poison (6 physalias + 6 deadly poison) would be faster even with defensive cards (congeal/bonewall)

I've been playing with the Shard of Patience for a while too (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,36599.0.html). I tried this kind of deck too (it seems to make sense with the Flayer coz of his ability, right?) But it was always too slow and weak. It was 'fun', but never particularly good :( I know your pain lol.

Somebody once suggested to me mitosis/water (instead of fractal) because you might be able to make a more stall-speed deck out of it, but I haven't tried it that myself! The other popular suggestion is Chimera since it won't be delayed on the turn you power the creatures up, but that's tricky too because you need gravity. Hm.

Nope! I don't really know how to say anything useful except, maybe throw in some CC? For instance, since you'll be hitting them with Fractal anyway, do you really need 6 Physalia? Just a thought.
Like reading? Here's a story inspired by Elements, City of Alchemy. :)

Yes, you really do know my pain! XD

Um...I tried incorporating CC, but it slowed down a deck that was already slow, by not giving me the cards I needed for my eleventy-billion card combo. I may be exaggerating a bit, but not by much. AND let's add Chimera in the mix? I think not. I just would like to get the creatures out there faster...the delay doesn't bother me much, since losing doesn't bother me much either...but then again, maybe asking for help has no purpose, if I'm not bothered by losing.  :))

I think problem with this deck is the weakness to shields.  To solve that problem, get some death quanta!  That way, the physalia's can use their skill and poison the enemy.  Take out some fractals and add some death towers.
