ENT-ITY any suggestions? https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=4312.msg42627#msg42627

6 x Gravity Towers
4 x Amethyst Towers
3 x Supernova
3 x Butterfly Effect
1 x Shard of Gratitude
3 x Elite Armagio
2 x Massive Dragon
2 x Elite Otyugh
3 x Black Hole
2 x Thunderbolt
1 x Quintessence

I've been using this in trainer for a while now against AI 5 with moderate success.  Aiming to use armagio's prodominately with butterfly effect giving you permanents' control, but also as a life lengther via gravity pull in a tight spot.  Then the Oty's and Thunderbolts for creature control. Black Holes I use if possible, for early control.  If not, I save and group for late game when i get control of his back row.  The Shard helps a poor draw.  I like the assurity a Quintessence can give against opposion creature control, but generally not available until mid-late game as it requires 2 of the 3 novas.  Finally, the Massive Dragons, which do the bulk of your offensive damage.

Opinions/Suggestions appreciated.

awwww no replies, cold shouldered on my first post :(

Well,  I've been working this idea for 24 hrs now and am currently running the following with an 82% win ratio in AI5.  Losses have come from bad draws, or decking out before doing enough damage.  Anyways, to the revised deck.

8 x Gravity Towers
5 x Amethyst Towers
3 x Butterfly Effect
1 x Improved Antimatter
3 x Elite Armagio
4 x Massive Dragon
3 x Elite Otyugh
3 x Black Hole

Any other ideas?

the deck is pretty nice

if i use this deck, i would remove the massive dragons and put in elite chargers instead
they are a lot cheaper and 5hp isnt too bad
7 damage and 8 damage is not a big difference
another bonus is that they ignore shields, it may be good against shields that cant be destroyed

PJ, you'll get a lot more replies if you post a deck image or use the on-board deck image generator.  Most of the regs here, myself included, just don't want to peer through a wall of text to figure out the purpose of your deck. :)

hope this means i get some thoughts from those with the knowledge :)

the deck runs pretty smoothly on the whole, using butterflys on armagio for perm control and oty's for creature control. Main problem im trying to solve is causing enough damage before decking out.

Only used this deck against AI5 to date, and win ratio stands at 77% out of 350 battles.

Celest:  Went with your idea and changed dragons for chargers, but found that this did indeed make winning slightly harder.  Ran it for 30 battles and lost to not causing enough damage 7 times. Generally, the deck wins when you are down to last 5 cards, so the point difference in damage surprisingly did effect things more than i thought it would.
When i get time i will try a mixture of dragons and chargers to see how that runs.

Try adding a discord to help your black holes, and maybe change your mark to earth so you can run some heavy armors too.

Xoned:

Have toiled over Discord for a while now. Will be running with it in due course to see how it fairs. I agree with your logic.

Earth mark im not so sure about.  If i did, i would have to increase amythest towers, and would probably end up over 30, which, with no draw power, i feel is detrimental.

Thanks for input.

Anyone else?

Permanent control generally isn't something you need in the first few turns of a game; killing your opponent is something you always need.

By that logic, I'd run with 1 less Butterfly and 1 less Armagio, and add a Discord (Black Holes really are kind of pointless without it) and another Massive Dragon (or maybe even an Amethyst Dragon for those enemies who don't play a ton of permanents.)

Alternately, remove 1 Butterfly, 1 Armagio, and 3 Black Holes, and add 3 Titans and 2 Animate Weapons.
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.
