For an unupped deck I'd use some sort of novabow, probably earth mark for graboids. You can (and should!) boild it according to your own preferences, as you'll get more out of the game that way, but for creatures, some of the strongest choices are lycanthrope, graboid, and forest spirit. Fog shield is really nice because it's so cheap, and for weapons I'd recommend arsenic, vampire stiletto, or discord. Throw in a pair of deflags for dimshields and the like, some creature removal like lightning bolts, and you should win a lot of games. Nightmare is an often overlooked card in this sort of deck, and it can be a real killer at the right time; I nearly always put a lone nightmare in novabows.
