Darkness+Light+Aether - needs suggestions :) https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=3429.msg29801#msg29801

Hello there! =)

I've been playing with this deck for a while now, and the goal of it is to get out Dragons, give them vampire and then make them untouchable with Quintessence.
Here it is -
(http://www.screenshotdumpster.com/view/m7Gbd48975/Deck_2)
Mark is  :aether

I've cut it down recently because of having games where I constantly get either pillars/dragons/spells, and not a balanced amount of each.

Now I want suggestions on how to make this deck work better. I have no problems with AI3, and I've had some success in top 50 as well (although it's because of awesome draws on my part and not so good ones for my enemy ;D)

So yeah, feedback and suggestions is what I'm looking for :)

Thanks.
(sorry for the lack of browsing forums btw  ???)

Liquid shadow poisons, so itll kill your dragons eventually, even with quints. I suggest taking out the quints, going mark of light and add 3 blessings or 2 guardian angels(heal poison) and 1 dark pillar

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm afraid it's a really poor one.

- Golden Dragons have 10 HP, a single one and survive and kill an enemy (not FGs and AI 5 ofc) even while having Liquid Poison applied to it.
- Not having Quintessence on the Dragons make them ALOT more vurneable to various other effects.
- 1 damage per sec versus Freeze/Reverse Time/Firebolts/Lightning/Otuyghs and the list goes on.

Sorry m8, your suggestion does not hold up :) And fyi, what you suggested was what I ran before starting with this deck.

Did you thought about Parallel Universe or Dimensional Shields actually? These could help you win against some better guys like AI5s. But then, if you've done that, you ought to add some Aether Pillars. Maybe change Steals to Black Dragons? That would actually do some more damage. And honestly, if you battle against AI3s, you shouldn't even defend your dragons, because:

less defense = more damage you can inflict = quicker win = more cash. (Thanks, SG. :D)

If you still worry about those damage dealers, change Quints for Lightnings. Against AI3, every offensive card counts. Change maybe 1-2 Steals for Black Dragons. 1 Steal will eventually help you against some shields.

Well, you don't need ANY defense vs AI3's, and it takes you 4 turns to play One quint, which by that time, your dragons should have cut off some health. So basicly, waiting 4 turns to play the quinted LSed Drag would slow you down.

My suggestion: Ignore the Light part.

Mark of Aether
10x Obsidian Pillar
6x Devourer
6x Dark Dragon
4x Liquid Shadow
4x Quintessence

Yup.  Devourers come out quickly enough to slow down your opponent while speeding up the Dark Dragons; slap the dragons down as fast as they come up; oh ahead and Quint one with LSing it if no LS is available, other wise LS and Quint each one as they arrive.  There's really no need to worry about the fact that any one dragon will only deal 50 damage before dying; it'll heal you for enough life that surviving until the next one arrives is no problem.

By removing an element, you make the deck much quicker and more reliable; by using only 30 cards you increase stability and reliability even more.
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

Thanks for the suggestion! I like the idea and I'll try it out in the trainer right away :)

I'm still scared that decks that I WANT to be able to beat (TOP 50) have alot of ways to stay in the game longer. (Shields, shards, miracle and what not) Therefore my dragons will die "to fast."
Also, without steals, many shields can bring huge problems my way.

But I'm not gonna judge before trying ;D
