Play 2 fractals, one on a devourer (first) then one on a minor vampire. If you enemy is a T50 with vampires and not minor vampires, fractal his creatures.

- Reduce the number of Darkness Pillars, since you'll fractal some Devourer

Darkness Pendulums to guarantee you never miss out on either quanta you need. You only need two-three Vamps and Drain Life, promise, and the other cards are a good number as well. Certainly don't need more than 5 Fractals. The faster you get Devourers out, the larger your chance of winning, and fewer Fractals makes sure your hand doesn't clog up. Dusk Mantle and Stiletto are fine to add, though the former is not very useful due to high cost. Means it comes out late and doesn't reduce much damage in total, but you can of course Steal shields too. Them's my two cents.

Could I take out one steal and pendulum, add 2 minor vamps, and get the same result (kinda) or better?

No, not as I see it. Half-Bloods will survive rather long, and the x3 mark will often ensure they'll play a shield that will almost completely halt your offence. You can, however, take out one Pendulum and add two Minor Vamps. No real need to be 30-card when speed isn't your main focus. I wouldn't recommend more than 3 vamps, personally.
