I started to like the Spine shield, and built a FG deck around it.
Code: [Select]
5p0 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u7 6u7 77f 77f 77i 77i 7aj 7aj 7h2 7h2 7k6 7k6 7k6 7k6 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q5 80h 80h 80hThe problem is it seems to be too slow in setting up a defense. Is there any other CC I can put in there? I'm not using death or darkness quanta. And I don't know what to take out.

If you want it to be a bit faster then i'd take out some of the healing cards.
Also, maybe use Anubis instead of quint? maybe.
It is the greatest mystery of all...

he's already very heavy on time,
maybe remove 1 hourglass and add another spine for it if you say you're slow with setting up?

Take out a Sanctuary/SoG for an Aflatoxin. You can also change the Blue Nymph to an Elite FFQ to support your Steamers.

i would takeout the bluenymph for a ffq
the following reasons are:
1.bonewall stopper
2.cc bait
3.you need :fire to power up your steam machine.

the disadvantage is.
1.no more pc bait.

-SoG/Sanctuary +Antimatter
3AM is really useful, against most FGs AM will heal more than 4-5.

Version 2:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5p0 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u7 6u7 719 719 77f 77f 77i 77i 7aj 7aj 7h2 7h2 7k6 7k6 7k6 7q5 7q5 7q5 80h 80h 80h 8pj

I kept the nymph because the only time it's not needed is when the steam machines are needed (Ferox's jade shield) and vice versa (Morte and Incarnate's bonewalls are powered by this deck's shield). It can be replaced still though. I used plague over aflatoxin because it's cheaper, but it might be better in some cases to fill the board.

Aflatoxin> Plague in this deck IMO.

spine has amazing, gamebreaking potential!  when it works you feel untouchable

in reality, its always out too late to save you.  pulling 7 :life takes time.  watching something die over 5 turns is usually 3 turns too late.  permafrost stops twice as much damage and freezes quickly.  yes, spine can kill untargetable creatures, but it ends up being unnecessary overkill

people respect steam machine but they realize that destroyer fits rainbows better.

nice nymph btw

Zombie0 gives 110 percent whenever he's in the arena. He's a team player who delivers both offensively and defensively. He has no idea what a Quantum is.

Spine can be set up rather easily because the deck is fueled by Supernovaa.
Wrong, when combined with aflatoxin you can completely cover the FG's field.
Steam machine is really good, better then destroyer IMO. +5 is better than +2, even if you lose some attack every turn.

Even with the supernovas it takes a bit to set up. That's why I put it in Deck Help. The Steam Machines are there because they can soak up a lot of CC, and you can leave one out as bait while the other one grows. The growth-to-cost ratio is still the same, 2:1. Also I avoided FFQs because they take :life away from the shield. I've been experimenting with Sundials, because the shields are useless against Akebono and Hecate. Also against Hermes and Rainbow, but that's usually because they come out too late.
