Trying something new... semi-rainbow nymph deck https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=7540.msg83362#msg83362

The last few weeks the Oracle smiled upon me with three nymphs. Good ones too.

I'm a fan of large, diverse rainbows (50-card variation on Puppychow's) and decided to integrate these into my deck. My win rate dropped. Dropped a lot. I'm trying to find a balance that would at least give me a shot with all FGs, even if it was because of a lucky draw.

Here's what I've been working with at the moment...
Code: [Select]
500 5io 62c 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6rn 6rn 6rn 710 719 71c 744 74b 77f 77i 7ak 7do 7gk 7gp 7n2 7q5 808 80b 80d 80d 80e 80h 80h
I think it's because the nymphs take a bit of time to get going, and the speedy FGs (esp. Hermes, DG, and Octane) spank me like a stepchild. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello.

You really need the gravity tower and the Shappire Tower? The gravity nymphs is very well against rainbows but against false gods that are usually bi-tricolor it doesn't does nothing. The only nimhps that are useful against FG are the purple, the dark and the air. Red and earth nymph are powerful cards that gives you creature control, but they are very expensive, and simply a Oty does the job and it is easy to play it when you really need.

I haven't tried Nymph Queen and Turquose, because I don't have them, so I can't really give feedback on it. The death nymph looks nice, but usuall you only need one Aflatoxin to fill his board, so it is not necessary. So you can quit the bone tower.

Also it seems like some more draw power will help you.

I don't know if it worth having a animate weapon for the electrocutor. Mind flashers are cheap, and you don't have to use animate and you can free your weapon slot. Animate so often cloggs your hand.

A pair of Shards of Readiness also will be nice in the deck, no more than two, because they are only needed at midgame, when you can play nymphs, if you draw it too early is like the same with animate weapon, a hand full of cards and you can't play nothing.

Maybe the deck have too much combinations of ideas, sometimes is better to concentrate on one objective in the deck, because you can't have a deck that is able to do all things in an effective way.

What have been your % mark with this deck?
