best cards to play in the 1st-2nd turn? https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=12006.msg148895#msg148895
« on: August 30, 2010, 04:13:41 am »
hello im currently using an  :earth rush deck, grinding ai3, and i was wondering what cards are the best to play in the 1st-2nd turn.

my current deck looks like this.
Code: [Select]
4t4 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 590 590 590 590 590 591 591 591 591 591 591 593 593 593
1. if i have 3 :earth quanta, is it better to summon the graboid? or play the earthquake? what choice is better for what ai3 decks?

2. if i have enough  :earth quanta and have a  :time quantum, what is better to summon, the graboid or the shrieker?

thanks! greatly appreciate your help. and one more thing... is this the fastest unupped deck available for grinding the ai3? its getting kinda boring.  :P

thanks again!

Hmmm
Most variations of this don't actually USE EQs.
I believe it's best to take them out, and add pillars instead.
Also, your mark is supposed to be Time.

1. I only play EQ if my opponent has 2 or more pillars. For Elders however, I see you've discovered you only need speed.
2. Shrieker, as you'll most likely be able to summon the Graboid the next turn. I can only think of one exception to this, and that's if your opponent has a Devourer out and you have a good income of Earth quanta. They tend to take that one Time quanta.
3. Technically, by turns to win, no. Actual time is a different issue (which is getting investigated here: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,11935.0) But it's got an amazing balance of consistency and speed (the original Shrieker rush, that is). My pleasure. And the Turns to win study thread has tons of unupped decks too, so if you want some variety, there it is. ^_^
