focused sacrifice [sofo+gpull] [sosac] https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=51847.msg1104074#msg1104074

So, finally an effective deck from me again.

there are 2 pretty common ways to stalls nowadays:
SoFo+gpull,
and SoSac.
they both need a decent amount of speed, or some other kind of controll/stall
coincidentally, they add up really nice:
sosac starts being effective from 20 damage on the opponent,
SoFo shield is most effective if the opponent has less than 15 damage.
this leaves a gap of 5 damage; it is not very common the opponent (especially ai) stays on this amount against a SoFo shield:
you want to destroy the SoFo asap.

There are, obviously, 2 main problems this deck has:
-a little amount of cc can make you deckout.
-the :gravity quanta is extremely hard to balance.

I think i've minimalized the 2nd point already, but it sometimes still proves to be a pain.

as for the damage, I may swap the titan for an arsenic. It makes the deck more vulnerable to quanta controll, though.
I may also swap out the chargers for more SoFo+overdrive(+unstoppable?),
and just ragequit vs reverse time.
I have no other idea's.

there are, of course, also a few minor problems:
-gpull can't be used as cc (making a 2nd likely a dead card).
-the amount of :death quanta you accumalate during the start of the match is left over.

problems that don't need fixing (can't counter everything)
-rt hurts
-quanta controll hurts
-burst damage might hurt.

if the damage is fixed, this could very well be at least an ai4 farmer, and perhaps even kill a few fg.
With that mark of :death sitting there, it probably won't work well in pvp, though.

so, what i'd like to hear:
suggestions to get more damage without removing the stall?
be quick- time is quanta.

Change chargers to Guards, swap 2 towers for overdrive and change titan to long sword.
Should also improve your quanta balance. (And with guards you can use GF as CC)

Arsenic > Long Sword. This isn't a fast deck
But don't count out Dirk

sosac starts being effective from 20 >10 damage on the opponent

At 20 you begin to totally negate damage, anything over 10 slows damage down. By the time they're doing over 15 damage to potentially whittle a SoFo down, they'd be doing 4 damage per turn worst case scenario if you activate SoSac, so I wouldn't really say there's a problem there.

Could you just rely on overdriven sofos for damage? I don't like the idea of chargers or overdriving-guards because of cc. It makes your deck even more vulnerable to rewind, but it can be played around since most players don't use 6 rewinds or eternity. For example, baiting rewind with a gpulled sofo.
Reality is just a kusoge.
