Board newbie here... never really contributed to the forum before, but I have a friend who's been going crazy with his mono-fire deck, upgrading everything.  While I guess you could make the case for aether, mono-fire seems to be the best mono deck in the game, and almost impossible to beat in PvP.  At least for me - so besides using discord to pork the quanta, what would the brilliant minds on the board recommend?

If you know what kind of fire deck you're facing it's usually pretty easy to counter it.  Besides Freeze and Ice Lances you can try stuff like Reverse Times, Earthquakes and Reflective Shields.

Well, this one I want to beat has now shifted from mono-fire to fire/earth lava golem deck, which just makes me think that i'll bump up the congeals from the water deck and bump down the ice lance...  btw, I'm starting to like water!  After playing a Rainbow to FG farm for so long, it's nice to try something different...
