The guy thought of a little game, and I felt that the comments on it were rather harsh and not explaining much, so I'll try.
Here is one of the starter decks. Just chose fire because it has been my favorite element for a long time

Now, taking out the most useless cards:
~Other cards: You have no use for quantum pillars, and a dagger isn't the most amazing weapon.
~Water cards: Having a duo set up like this simply slows down the deck, and cards similar to crawler and freeze can be found in fire cards.
Now, look at the deck:

You have a
~Unnecessary amount of quarta production. Too many pillars to start off, and immolation is simply overdoing it.
~Only 1 really offensive card (dragon) and two cards that need to grow to have a decent amount of damage.
~Unnecessary amount of cc for AI3 grinding. CC does kill creatures to stop opponent offenses, but it doesn't mean that you will defeat the opponent.
Therefore, there is no way that you can make a good deck with just those cards.
On the other hand, there are plenty of good fire decks that you can get after maybe an hour or two of grinding with the beginner deck shown on the tutorial page (
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,1190.0.html) that you can choose from: lava rush, phoenix rush, stall, or even duo or trio options.
Finally, not sure if you are a beginner yourself, but if you are and need help yourself, do feel free to ask for good starting decks / options, etc.
