I would like to make this deck especially for PvP, but if it's good for farming and going after the gods, all the better! Of all my decks, I've been the most happy with this one. It's not quite tight enough, though. There are a few things that I'm going to be stubborn about. I want to keep it  :aether :time with  :aether as my mark. Having use of both weapons has always served me well. One of the things that has changed since I started playing elements again after almost a year's break is that my Phase Dragons are no longer untouchable. There are many different things that seem to be able to destroy them that I have not figured out yet. Hopefully, understanding their new vulnerabilities may be the key to getting this deck back into shape. Thanks for the suggestions!

You really want to run 6 hourglasses. You only need a few, but having 6 makes it easy to draw them and they can draw PC away from the dimension shields against AI. The problem with this in PVP is that aether is really vulnerable to steals, if you get your shields stolen, you can't hurt them for a few turns, and it will cost you some quanta to put another one down.

Things that hurt phase dragon: Fire Bucker, Spine/Thorn Carapace, Skull Shield

Thank you! I was wondering if I didn't have enough hourglasses. I'll give it a try.  :)

I will try it. I've not used GotP before. It doesn't seem like just that and the weapon is enough just looking at the deck, so I'm excited to find out what it really does. I tried just adding the hour glasses to the deck I had. The results were not good. Almost every single battle lasted an eternity with me losing at the end by running out of shields.

You fractal GotP and drop like 6-7 in one turn. Thats like 50 damage.

You can't just throw in more hourglasses. You also need to take some stuff out, and add more damage in.

Oh, I have taken lots out! Adding more damage is great, as long as I have the q to do it. Still not balanced enough to be fast. I'll put it through some more tweaking today.

It looks like you've already included one, but Pendulums would not only improve your quanta balance but also trim down the deck enough that you can get the cards that you need. Unless you're using the deck specifically to deck opponents out, but in that case I'd suggest you add more copies of the cards you do need. For instance, having only one each of Eternity, Mindgate, and Electrocutor in a 49 card deck, even with the drawing power, may mean that you can't get the card you need before your opponent defeats you. I'd suggest adding more copies of those, using the room you made by trimming down the deck with pendulums.

Lastly, it doesn't look like your Anubis serves much of a function other than to prevent deckout (with Eternity) and to quint PU'd creatures. I'd suggest you go one way or the other here. If you'd rather use it to protect your PU'd creatures, again, the more copies the better. The added bonus is you can always keep one in your hand to prevent deckout. If you think you'd more likely use your Anubis to prevent deckout, then a low cost creature like a Photon might be better.

I've included a deck below, modified with Pendulums and including more copies of the key cards in your deck. I chose not to include the Mindgate, but if you prefer that it stay in there you can disregard that change I made.

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5ro 5ro 5ro 5rl 5rl 5rl 5rn 5rn 5rn 7q5 61r 61r 61r 61r 61u 61u 61u 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61v 61v 61v 61v 80f 8pu

Changes: -1 Dragon, +2 Eternity, +2 Lobotomizer, +2 Anubis, +2 Hourglasses, -1 Mindgate, +1 PU. And the replacement with Pendulums.

This is far from perfect, of course -- I haven't tested it in the game itself. If I find the time to do it I'll test and see if I can't tweak it some more to make it more efficient. My main worry right now is the expensiveness of many of these cards, but hopefully they'll balanced out by the Pendulums I've stuffed in there.

Some other suggestions: you could include Sundial as well, to increase the stalling power. Also, if you have those, upped Animate Weapons cost 1 of any element, so would be useful at times when you need both Lobotomizer and Eternity.

Thank you for the ideas. You're right about the Anubis. The only reason I've been hanging on to him is because he uses both time and aether, which at this point is no longer that good of a reason. I would LOVE to have extra weapons. I've typically had pretty bad luck with earning them. I've been trying the oracle too, but nothing so far.  Any suggestions?

I wish I had taken a screen shot of my original deck. It was mostly aether with lots of dragons, and I almost never lost. But I'll keep trying to fix this one.

You're deck defenitly needs some tweaking, but the basic idea you are running is pretty good.

For one thing, having 43 cards is a lot even if you draw faster with hourglasses.  Those are there to help you get you're dragons faster and make sure you don't run out of phase shields to stay protected almost totally.

As it has been said before, the Anubis are useless since they have no creatures to protect (baring a parellel universe creature).  The parallel universe is a great card, but if you play with phase dragons, chance are you're opponent is stuck with a ton of Creature control cards.   Don't give him anything to use them.

Also If you trim the number of cards, you can reduce the number of weapons.

Here is an idea of what it can look like.  and by the way, when you get the chance to upgrade some cards, I suggest to go with Hourglasses at first since you need to use em so many times.

Arena is a great place to farm weapons, try Bronze or Silver for unupped weapons. If you get a certain number of wins in a row (6 for Bronye, 5 for Silver), you can spin for a rare. Watch the blue arrows closely, you're allowed to spin them three times each.

Agreed with mrpaper's upgrade order, HGs are priority.
