So I just used this deck in the tourney and lost in round 2.  Any ideas/comments? I'd like to try and keep it totally unupped, though putting in SoGs would help a lot. It seemed to fare quite well in the tourney(I actually beat someone ), but there are obvious weaknesses like a lack of damage, though PUs can take care of that depending on the situation.

For starters, why do you need flying lobos? You could go with the tipical monoaether with dragons. Or even further, adding something to duo besides air, like: deflags or even PAs if you think your opponent will get tons of PC. Then you can keep 1 or 2 lobos for the momentums.

Well.. at least it's original. Don't put too much weight on one win, as it can depend entirely on deck matchup. Especially if it's prelims. Anyway, PU's are indeed the most versatile card Aether has to offer, but you don't need more than 2 Lobos in a deck to neutralise and deal continuous damage. Seeing as the tourney focuses on airborne creatures, I'd just pack Phase Dragons. That'd also solve the quanta issues this deck has: ten pillars is too little.

if you want to do a more stall ish deck and make them chuck out cards i would get rid of the flying weapons and keep only 1 lobotomizer and then put in 6 silence and 6 phase dragons. change your mark back to aether. the deck should look something like this

i personally wouldnt even have a lobotimzer but another pillar for more quanta. i used the deck i just posted for a tournament and i didnt lose once with it...i made the mistake of using something else when i needed to win
