@furballdn

Then I'll just have to stack 2 nightfalls.
Now I just need to get the electrum to upgrade the phoenixes.

Thank you for the help, I'll keep thinking of ways to improve this deck, especially defense-wise.

Nightfall does not stack. Even if you have 6 on the field, the bonus is still +1|+1. Another idea I just thought of using :darkness and :fire as a duo is to use cloak to protect the fragile glass cannons of fire, such as dragons.

That seems like a pretty good idea, however, would rain of fire/thunderstorm still hit?
I know nightfall doesn't stack, I meant 2 as a precaution against the opponent's spells that kill permanents.
Actually, until my phoenixes get upgraded, I've switched to using crimson dragons. I also included the ragepotion/blackdragon/nightfall combo. Right now I'm trying to find the right medium of darkness and fire quanta, and have been messing with the pillar counts

. I really want to keep the steals, but they take up space I could use for other things.

The dragons are worse than the phoenixes- You don't have enough fire quanta output to sustain them. Check out QI and the QI calculator by UTAlan

While dragons are more efficient, you don't have the fire pillars to sustain them in this occasion. Rain of fire/thunderstorm and other AoE spells like pandemonium go through cloak, but cloak will protect from other forms of CC as well as protecting your nightfall.
