1500 to upgrade a card https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=4947.msg49161#msg49161

is there a fast way of getting 1500 money to upgrade a card? i mean, is it the only way of upgrading a card? (pls dont count winning fake gods as a method since you need upgraded cards)
right now i am farming on lvl 3, each game gives 10-19 money. that would take 75 games to get 1500. isn't that kinda too slow?
my deck is mono life and mono earth, i have 2 decks. all un-upgraded. all rushing decks
i tried the aether mono deck to farm on lvl 5, but i won 1 out of 4 games.
any tips on farming lvl  5? also, what's the winning % for a un-upgraded rainbow deck on farming lvl 5?

You have a point there in my opinion should upgrade cost be calculated on rarity of the card or ordinary costs. but i think the ones that already have a big wallet dont agree with me :) anyway.. try start farming some lvl5  instead or top50 (for rares) there are some pretty nice lv5 farming decks out there wich makes it more possible to get upgraded cards to sell

You can also win ungraded cards from AI5 (15% of their cards are upgraded).

IIRC my aether mono won some 3/4 of games against AI5 when still unupgraded. It did have a Lobotomizer, though, and I had been playing aether since I started this game so I was really used to it. Now that it's upgraded and optimized and all it wins 4/5 of the time against AI5 and Top50, plus it's as fast as unupped farmer decks against AI3 and rarely ever loses against those. Unfortunately it's completely useless against the FG (unless you know you're going against Miracle). Still I can only recommend aether mono.

Everyone starts with no upgrades, FGs are possible with them.

A lot of older players will say this.  I disagree.  Cards have been nerfed, the AI has been improved, and the easier gods don't pop up as often.

Personal opinion:

Continue to use your rush decks on AI3.  Don't bother with AI5 or Top50 yet.

At the beginning, there's just no way to upgrade a card faster than 1.5-2 hours of gameplay.  The reason I say stick with AI3 is that you can speed through matches, so you get more spins.  This has several advantages:
1. If the first two slots match on a spin, you get +5 electrum.  This doesn't sound like much, but with a speed deck you can play 45-60 matches/hour.  At three spins a win, that's 135-180 spins, or up to 900 extra electrum an hour.
2. More spins means you can win more cards.  If you don't need the cards, sell them.  You may only get 15 electrum from the match, but most cards sell for 20-50 electrum.  If you win 5-10 cards/hour (very conservative estimate with that many spins), it adds up quick.
3. Most importantly, outside of Top50 farms, AI3 is the best chance to get weapons.  Use this grinding time to build up your weapon stash.  NEVER sell a weapon (unless you get 12+ of one of them).

As you mindlessly grind through AI3, figure out what deck you want to use on the FGs.  Focus on upgrading the key cards for that deck (most decks revolve around 5-10 cards).  Once those cards are upgraded, start farming the gods.  After you get good at that, you can upgrade the whole rest of the deck in the same amount of time it previously took you to upgrade about 3 cards.
