There are a couple of things you can do with Aether/Fire, but it's best to focus on one combo.

For example:

5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f7 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 8po

It's a very simple deck that actually works. Play shields when you're getting damaged too much, play bolts on the opponent once you have enough Fire quanta for a one turn kill. With the deck cut down to 30 cards, it can actually pull out the cards it needs in time, especially the Dimensional Shields. You'll see that most of the time, the shield chain will not break if you start chaining them at the 18 card mark. And your sole win condition, the fire bolts, will actually get drawn much faster.

Common question: "But what if I am against momentum/deflagration/mirror shield/etc?"
Yes, that's actually a valid point, but if you try to extend the deck too much to try to counter everything, you might actually -lose- to everything because you're not getting the right draws! Maybe you can try to fit in a dragon/phoenix and a fractal in the deck for an alternate win condition, but don't dilute the deck too much.

There should be a lot more in the archives. There's a trainer to help you test decks, if you can't buy them yet: http://www.elementsthegame.com/trainer
Good luck!

PS: There are decks dedicated to stalling that pack more than 30 cards, but those will usually have some permanent protection and healing. Aether/Fire is not the best for that, but one of them paired with the right element will make a potent stall.

Aether/Fire does indeed get most of its power when it has some upgrades, mainly because both elements are very much complete on their own already. However, thanks to Fire's versatile offense, you get strong decks like these that break stalls very well. In addition to the ones Puff posted, there is a viable rush PU Dragon deck where you only pack 0-2 Dims and more Burning Pillars to get the Dragons out faster (still a 30-card deck), and the PU Phoenix deck. One variant below:

When farming, it's important to weigh winrate vs. the time it takes to win each game (measured in turns to win or time to win, abbr. TTW). Against all AI, it has been proven that speed is generally more important for your electrum and score per hour, however you might enjoy winning more often. There are threads for finding the best farming decks in this board: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/farming-studies-and-statistics/ (AI3 stopped being the focus since Arena came out, but all of the "turns to win study" threads are relevant for that AI)

Aether represents the sense of joy and union, and the ultimate potential of all things.
