I think I used SL as CC only once so this is way too much situationnal. I have pretty better results with this version.

Why not replacing Long Sword by an Arsenic ?
Long Sword is just here for the finishing blow. It is cheaper, paid with random quanta (so you can pay it from the mark) and give 6 damage. With arsenic you might not be able to pay for it (against pests or BH). However, it brings you a couple of poison hits which might help you at the end and death quanta are the only retained after SoSac. Its a matter of taste. I prefer the simplicity and security of long sword ...

I really like this deck.

I added sundials to help stall (to give more turns for the SoV to work) and give a chance for the opponent to add more creatures in between SoSa (for a better chance for EM).  It seems, to me, to have a better win rate (although, I have no definitive proof) and an EM almost every time.

Although it makes the deck 35 cards, you will sometimes have a :light to draw another card.  But, this also takes it out of Duo-Decks  and brings it into Trio & Quartet.

I agree SL + LS can kill in every situation. Nightmare is just redundant with SL but is less good in many situations.

The sundials are a good idea but they touch to a weak point of the deck: the Mulligan. Indeed with the 7 tower version (from Elsy) you increase a bit the chance toward pillars versus SoSac in the process of stopping the Mulligan. In your version however, you increase the chance (6+5 vs 7 on 35 cards) to start with no pillar. With a good start you might survive better but you'll increase the risk of failed Mulligan. Playing the Sundials non-upgraded is not a viable solution either because of the low amount of :time generated in this deck.

I just wanted to pop in and say that after a fair bit of playing with each, I agree with SnoWeb that the sword is totally worth having in there at the expense of a tower.

This is a good version. I just find the use of Morning glory risky. The weapon is just here for the killing blow. No need to pay for its immortality. A mild denial deck might prevent you to play your un-destroyable weapon whereas it will take a very drastic one to prevent you to play a long sword.

I know that I am going to screw myself over for giving this advice.  If you are going to use this deck for your Arena deck, you may want to swap out one or both of the SL.  The AI doesn't really use it on the opponent, only on the opponent's creatures.  (At least from my experience testing out my areana decks.)

I usually include a Nightmare (which is tough because there are many decks that have Sanctuary, and also the AI likes to use it on creatures too). And a Poison is also a good card  to get that last hp off the opponent.

I suggest investigating mirror shield + SL instead of longsword. If the opponent has a reflection shield, then you can just siphon yourself and it will reflect damage onto the opponent. Not sure how much more useful that will be, but it makes it more fun  :P
