Swords. Swords. SWORDS!
But Morning Star is a sword.
BTW, all of the following can technically be considered a 'sword' as far as I've seen on this forum:
Discord
Fahrenheit
Morning Star
Short Sword

Yes, no doubt it is a sword. But we are working on short swords. That's why all decks here contain short swords. Otherwise I'm throwing in a DBH and pray that it gets put up in the short sword article and wins a short sword competition. It's swords, not rare swords. =P

Hey, no offense meant, but I'm pretty sure there was no mention of the sword in question being Short/Long sword until people started to assume it was. Sure, I'll just make another deck (Or just keep 100IOS), but as a heads up for whoever makes the next challenge you might want to be specific about certain banned/allowed cards in a Challenge like this. Sorry for any trouble.

D:

That is unfortunate, but since you were first I think your entry should count and not mine. I'll keep mine up for posterity, though its back to the drawing board for me.

EDIT : On second thought, your deck doesn't have Skyblitz as the central strategy... I guess it's up to fur, but if "100 HP (Probably Not) in One Slash" proves too similar for everyone's tastes, use this instead :

Celestial Sword : "Delusional Chaos"
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4vp 4vp 4vp 4vp 4vp 4vp 7jo 7jo 7jo 7jo 7jo 7jo 7k1 7k1 7k1 7k1 7k1 7k1 7k2 7k6 7k6 7k6 7la 7la 7la 7la 7n2 7n2 7n2 7n2 7n2 7n2 8pj

How to Use:
Morning Star - You probably know the drill, observing most of these decks. Animate, fly, immaterial beatdown.
Pandemonium - Since Morning Stars are immaterial, they can't be hit by unupped Pandemonium, making the unupgraded version superior to the upped in this deck for being 2 :entropy cheaper.
Sanctuary / Miracle - Healing for stalling, modify or replace these as needed.

Other Cards:
Antimatter - If you can shift the quantum base more towards :entropy , you can try using Antimatter instead of Sanctuary.
SoFree - For faster damage, Sancs and Miracle can be exchanged for copies of these. Having the ability to PC enemy shields can be a bonus.
Sundial - For additional stalling power, add 3-6 of these in combined with 3-6 Sanctuaries in the deck.

No, it's ok, keep your first deck. Furballdn has accepted both decks as legal for the challenge, since he has posted both of them in the first page of this topic. Actually, I had my 'Ethereal Diving Longbow' deck in mind when I told about similarities between our deck rather than my 'Ethereal Swords' one, but it is made with bows (not swords), so it is ok. Unfortunately, as far as I know this challenge, by 'sword' Furballdn means the 1 :rainbow Shortsword|Longsword and only that card, so your Pandemonium deck is not legal, which is another reason to use your first deck.

You guys should go head to head in a match using your respective decks to see who gets to use it. :P

I'm cool with taking my deck out of the challenge; I forgot to call the patent office before submitting it. Seriously, though, at what point is a deck a new deck vs. a mod? I'm still new to this forum and I'm sure it's been discussed before.

Well, basically, when the strategy and core of the deck are different enough from the official, it's a new deck because the core (the point) of the deck changes. Changing 1-2 cards and keeping the same strategy would make it a "mod" of the deck, just better/ more comfortable to the user of said mod.

But I was just joking - feel free to keep the deck in competition.
