The strategy is simple; play and animate your swords and when you have a good quanta income start Sky Blitzing your opponent. If unupped, your swords will do 6 damage instead of 3, which isn't very impressive, but upped they will deal 12 damage instead of 6 and that's impressive IMO! ;)

Bow wouldn't be as good of a choice, since it's the same thing as sword (besides a bit more hp and costs more) without an air mark. :entropy mark is almost a necessity since with such little damage output, you need something to ramp up the offense. 6 creatures is also very vulnerable, and chaos power is the most efficient buff card besides SoW.

Maybe that's why Opsinis says "it is kind of cheating". It seems Opsinis aims for mutating the singularities instead of Longswords, which IMO look like cheating (but it is not). XD

Tip: mutate your opponents creatures as well, then antimatter them.
If gavels hp<4 MUTATE!!, weak gavels = danger.
If doing well, mutate a weak op creature, until gets the ability vamp, then antimatter.

What You're Supposed to Do
1. Fly Swords.
2. PU Swords.
3. SkyBlitz Swords.
4. ???
5. Profit.
Some Other Things You Can Do:
- Totally ignore how the deck works and PU enemy dragons, then Skyblitz them.
- PU a crusader, and have him endow the sword instead.
- Phase Shield - Mainly there for stalling purposes - this deck generates a bit of excess :aether without them. My version uses 3 Phase Shields to keep deck at a smallish size, but feel free to go anywhere from 0-6 of them.
-SoFreedom - Possible alternative, but I feel like it gets overly used in Airborne decks at times. If you use these, replace Skyblitz with them.
-Crusader - Good luck with an :air :light :aether trio, though it'll probably be fun if you pull it off. ;)
Question : Is Discord considered a sword or dagger for this competition? (Worth noting it can go either way)

^I'm sorry, Zblader, but I've already posted this synergy. Maybe you wish to try some other kind of synergy? However, if you want to keep this deck just tell me and I will post something different in order to have different kind of decks. ;)
About Discord, Vampire Dagger or Fahrenheit, I think they aren't considered swords (as far as I know, only Shortsword|Longsword can take place in this challenge).

Other Cards:
Antimatter - If you can shift the quantum base more towards :entropy , you can try using Antimatter instead of Sanctuary.
SoFree - For faster damage, Sancs and Miracle can be exchanged for copies of these. Having the ability to PC enemy shields can be a bonus.
Sundial - For additional stalling power, add 3-6 of these in combined with 3-6 Sanctuaries in the deck.

Yes, no doubt it is a sword. But we are working on short swords. That's why all decks here contain short swords. Otherwise I'm throwing in a DBH and pray that it gets put up in the short sword article and wins a short sword competition. It's swords, not rare swords. =P

No, it's ok, keep your first deck. Furballdn has accepted both decks as legal for the challenge, since he has posted both of them in the first page of this topic. Actually, I had my 'Ethereal Diving Longbow' deck in mind when I told about similarities between our deck rather than my 'Ethereal Swords' one, but it is made with bows (not swords), so it is ok. Unfortunately, as far as I know this challenge, by 'sword' Furballdn means the 1 :rainbow Shortsword|Longsword and only that card, so your Pandemonium deck is not legal, which is another reason to use your first deck.

I'm cool with taking my deck out of the challenge; I forgot to call the patent office before submitting it. Seriously, though, at what point is a deck a new deck vs. a mod? I'm still new to this forum and I'm sure it's been discussed before.

Well, basically, when the strategy and core of the deck are different enough from the official, it's a new deck because the core (the point) of the deck changes. Changing 1-2 cards and keeping the same strategy would make it a "mod" of the deck, just better/ more comfortable to the user of said mod.
But I was just joking - feel free to keep the deck in competition.
