Fun topic. Here's my build + topic for a Animated Gavel deck, perhaps others looking to build one can draw some inspiration/ideas from it :)

I like a lot of the decks posted in this thread to some extend, especially the cremation fahrenheit by ValerianFlame.
I used to play with a very similar deck for a while a few years ago, before I took my really long break.
I had to do some searching, but I found my variant of it, which is pretty much the same with only 30 cards.

Spoiler for "Fire&Air (fahrenheit version)":

I never quite got it to work the way I wanted it to...

Anyway, I think I want to play around with animate weapon decks again now....

Exarp that deck has 6 cremations and only 5 fodders, that might be the problem

Actually, I originally made that deck with only 5 cremations, and I felt like I just didn't draw them when I needed them.
They're for consistency more than to make it look nice.
If I weren't so against decks that aren't 30 cards, I'd add that 6th damselfly.
I also used phoenixes instead of the damselflies, but that was too unreliable.
So I kinda just... left it as it was.

EDIT:
I found another one I used to use. It's probably posted on the forum somewhere, but I can't find it.
Basically it's a animated weapon rainbow with bravery and freedom.
Spoiler for "Brave Free Weapons":

Yeah, that works fine too. The choice is pretty much CC vs PC. Pulvy does cost 1 more though, so that could slow you down a little.
Actually... why not just use both and take out one of the freedoms? 6 animates supports 7 weapons.
Anyway, none of the weapons in this deck are fixed, and it's all preference. Just have fun with it and use it the way you want.

EDIT: I just tested it, and now I realize why I wasnt using a pulvy. You might want to use poseidon, and that uses earth quanta too

My bad, though you could use pulvy if you're going against a deck with less pillars and more actual permanents.

Here's another combo I always liked: vampiric daggers and druidic staves with epinaphrine, with some steals for PC.
As long as your opponent doesn't go nuts on CC, you'll probably win with EM.

Spoiler for "Vampiric Druids":

I also tried to pair druidic staff with eternity/readiness for unlimited CC, but it feels a bit sluggish.
A gravity shield can stop this deck in it's tracks, and I had some pretty bad luck encountering these against AI4. It's a shame that time/life doesn't have PC.
I still want to share it with the community though.

Spoiler for "Eternal Druids":
