He doesn't say which deck he used. So Why would'nt he be able to play Sanc in second turn?

This deck has performed reasonably well for me, with a 7-2 record in the Trainer in addition to one win in the game. The Steals snatch both of his shields and take back two of your Sanctuaries to effectively cancel out Decay's damage if he ever gets it out. I went Deflags instead of Steals before, but this has a better chance in games where his four Steals come early. Not having Sanctuaries hurts.

Best part yet is that once he's forced to operate off his Mark alone, he rarely does more than 2 damage with his Siphons, meaning only 2 Dragons will die and 4 Dragons is enough to kill him before decking out.

the unupped deck worked great
i even messed up and didnt change mark to life i had entrophy mark (useless)
he started off with a fast hand and i still won (got a pest card from it)
i only used 2 jade shields and added 1 more deflagration and a morning star becos of damage and cant be destoryed or stolen

Wow, never drew a quint until my last 3 cards. Decked out too easily. It was a bad draw, but I think this deck has too much bad draw potential. I think it needs the help of a few extras. Maybe parallel universe or fractal to get more things on the field if you don't get a quint in time. Maybe an extra vampire with an eternity and a protect artifact.

I might try less Novas and more of the combo, but I haven't gotten it too late yet. The risk is there, though. That'd mean -4 Novas, +1 Epi, Unstop, Quint, Vamp. I'd personally rather have too much quanta against this devil.

Forget about Eternity and EA. Fractal is a terrible idea as well. If you want more chance in drawn-out games, just add one of every card in the combo like I mentioned and replace Novas with pillars/towers. Makes it 4 cards larger, which is fine against Decay. You only need one Vamp going mid-game and one late-game if you played the first after you had 18 cards left (Eclipse tends to make your vamps 5|4, resulting in 11 damage instead of 12).

yea you pa a sanc then pa a shield. then you just worry about freeing his hand the dragons take 3-5 DL's out of the hand. and the sancts keep steals from sitting in the hand. it can probably be improved but just an idea. and the third dragon is for rewinding. you get >100 at the end with a lot of pendulums so you can juggle it for a while
