novabow discard: 7 pends leaves 23 cards, leaves 8 cards to keep.

Discard ghosts.  This deck obviously failed. (-4)
Discard explosions.  We have 3 more after this. (-2)
Discard eternity.  We still have 1, and we can't really make a deck with it anymore, anyway.  (-1)

Without the ghosts, we cannot make a dedicated nightmare deck anymore.  I think keeping at least 1 for either the paradolls or (if we go this route) the novabow is a good idea.  We can discard the other two nightmares.

Discard 2x nightmares.  (-2)

Cards remaining:

Looking ahead at the salvage from light, we can discard 1 lightning and salvage one back.

Discard 1 lightning.  (-1)

5 nova, 5 mummy, 1 nightmare, 1 lightning, 1 fog (keep 8, discard 5 )

We can get a nova back from light as well, which would either let us spare 1 nova or put us back at a full 6 complement.  We have to at this point either take a hit on novas or mummies (or both), and there is not much we can do about it.    If we discard the novas, we have a bunch of worthless cards in vault (lycan, graboids, sundials) that we could suicide with.  If we discard the mummies, we're getting perilously low on death creatures.

Discard the other lightning (we'll have 5 still after salvage), discard the fog (only good in novabow, and it's just 1 card), discard the nightmare (don't really want to, but so be it) and discard 2 mummies.

-1 lightning
-1 fog
-2 mummy
-1 nightmare

Leaving us with:

Discard 15
2 mummy
1 fog
1 eternity
4 ghost
2 lightning
2 deflag
3 nightmare

(and keeping 5 nova 3 mummy)

I don't think there's any other way to reasonably do this, as painful as it is.  We CANNOT spare more mummies, and I think we need to keep the novas.  That means everything else goes bye bye.

Keep any 3 from recluse/dragon/mummy/arse, but no more than 1 of each.  I'm not sure what's best.  (or keep all dragons and we have pugons left, which nobody knows about)

15 quanta in 31 card deck means keep 1 card.

Fucking hell.  Well... keeping 1 dim is pointless.  We can spare fractals, the silence can go, the psion can probably go.

We should keep either arsenic or spider.  I think it's about equal odds.  (keep whichever we don't keep from monodeath, I guess)

I cannot argue or dispute much of this logic.  I will suggest an alternate final solution for us to consider alongside your's, dragons, that being keep 4 Nova, 3 Mummy, and 1 Nightmare (a good 'surprise' add to future use of ParaWall or standard Dark Domin Duo).  We salvage one Nova back and have a 5 Nova Grabbow which is actually what Death has run as 'standard' in several recent Wars (6 and 7, specifically).


Water deck:
14 quanta and 15 discards means we keep ONE card.

Keep arsenic because fucking obvious.  Discard the rest.
100% truth.  Keep Arsenic the rest is toast.


monodeath:

12 quanta means keep 3 cards from the deck.

Yep - we have to go to zero Dims in-vault.  This is very scary for us against any team that figures it out and plans accordingly... As I went BOTH arsenic and spider above I vote keeping another Spider here.

I agree with (1) lightning (1) nova but suggest alternate to transmute of one to be salvaging (1) forest spirit for grabbow (which lost Fog) and (1) Graboid (we're only running four in the grabbow right now...).
