Im concerned people aren't play testing correctly... You can't just playtest vs ai3 or just against 1 deck and say its good.

For example I just play tested with me playing firestall vs titan wall and I beat it 5-0

A good test study is to take a deck you think is good against an element, then play against all there previous decks, ones they could use again, and see what the record is, and obviously if the AI isn't playing correctly either swap decks or play vs a real person.

Titan wall vs fire decks
Cremation rush: 5-5 (50% isn't so bad)
Grabow: 2-8
EQ/fire: 4-1
Steamies: 5-0
Firestall: 5-0 if you play vs AI, but when I played as the firestall 5-0(fairly easy win imo)
Fractal pheonix: 2-3

If you use titan wall you can't loose vs firestall except if you play titan and don't fly it and wait for deflag..

for most of the other I tested I used them in bl with awesome success.

We definitely need a copy of Titan Wall and Darkness Domin. So far they seem to be our best answers to Firestall and Dimsheld/Purify, and neither uses Poison. We should probably pack other Gravity and Darkness cards in those decks so we can use them again if they lose.

Thanks for the testing, Jay. Titan Wall might be better against Light. Darkness Domin looks great against Aether.

As for our Grabbow, I prefer a version with 4 graboids.
- With 5/6 graboids and 6 novas, you'll have a lot more games when you have a graboid in play but not enough quanta to evolve it.
- With more than 4 graboids you need to use Death Pendulums in order to have enough earth quanta. This means your earth quanta at a given turn relies on 2 variables: Novas and Death Pendulums. But with 4 graboids, there us no need to run Death Pendulums, which means your earth quanta in a given turn relies on only 1 variable: Novas. This makes it much more reliable.

I recommend my version, posted in chat.

Lastly, we need to get more testing done before we know for sure what the best decks in our vault will be.
I'll be in chat later to discuss our vault.
Somehow still around, somewhat

Ralouf Im saying yes you can, did you play firestall vs titan wall? I mean of course you'll always beat AI with titan wall because the AI will firebolt your titans for no reason.

Im not saying it isn't a good deck, because I do think we should have 1 in our vault, its a suprise attack against some people not seeing it come, but once they do I think they'll know better how to play against it/ counter it.

I got your point and yes I faced titan wall with firestall and felt totally weak against the deck.. if he get an early accelerated titan the game is pretty much done..

I agree with root for the grabbow I tested it and always had or not enough quanta for mummy or not enough for graboids. My conclusion is the same than your : play only 3 graboids and play only death pillar to make sure we can play early the death cards.

It would be dealt helpful to have 10 PvP tests for Titan Wall vs Firestall. If Titan wall loses more than 3 games, we should probably add poisons until we can reliably beat firestall 7/10 times.

The nice thing about titan wall is that it will be an easy deck to double up on since taking 6 Flying Weapons can go with a variety of decks if we choose, so really it's only 6 extra cards to double up the deck (although it would use up a lot of bone walls).

Concerning all decks that you are testing vs older decks, by no means do i think an older version is better or not. Especially now that we have a new version coming out and the ability for more upped cards the landscape has certainly changed. I personally am less worried about firestalls then stinkin' grabbows. EVERYBODY will be running those and we should really figure out a way to consistantly be able to beat those types of decks with a variety of different decks.

Vs grabbow we can use bone wall + lightning or pandebonium or even a monodeath.

Yes flying weapon is a really needed cards : flying arse can be fun, flying OE + bone wall is awesome and titan wall is a very good deck..

A lot of our decks have been built or were used last war, so we have most of the resources we need.
Now we need to test.

We're going to play 8/11 of the other teams in Round 1, so we should make sure we have a deck to do well against every team. I've started a Team Testing section in our chat (http://willyou.typewith.me/p/gjtJoEky0q) towards the very bottom of the page.

Anyone here can test, and it's really going to help us. First, find or design a Death deck that you think can do well against a certain Team. Next, go here (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,24435.0.html) and test your deck against all of the Round 1 decks for a certain team. The chat explains the rest, and it shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

If we get all of the testing done and have a solid deck to use against every single team, we're going to be one of the best teams as soon as Round 1 starts.
