Didn't see anyone in chat, but I've compiled round 4 decks that they used, they won 3 matches, mainly graboids, and they only got to salvage 12 cards cause 1 of the match they won was with a substitute by a non-sub member.

We should try and compile their possible vaults and see what possible decks they could make out of what they have left and decide accordingly, they would mostly go grabs against us though I think.


EDIT: My opponent Istari faced smug last round, they used FFQ,hope and bond together, Probably CC+bonewall, poisons?

Heh, I got an Underworld member. Since we dont have a slightest idea what they have there, I'd go with a strong rush probably (likely grabbies).
Another option is deckout stall, but I'm not sure it would be a good idea.

I'm pretty sure they will try to counter us based on our previous decks. We should check out our own decklist so far and see what we can come up with as a counter deck.
I am pretty sure they will have purifies (How to counter Death... hmm hmm hmm.. PURIFY!), it's such a no-brainer. They could also have some heavy CC vs our creatures, while whatever creatures they can put in will rush us.

This is what I'd do at least.

Btw don't forget that they can take Time decks and use Eternity to prevent deckout.

Eternity will likely be used against stall elements, not . While Purify is an obvious counter, they had to build their vault (aka decks) before they knew if they will be fighting anyone from . Still, poison wouldnt be my option here really.

What I'm expecting is several mimics of the strong existing decks. 3 nova / 3 immo deck could be used, though a bit unstable deck. Discord will be abused for sure. If I was them, I'd use Fractal deck against us.

Perhaps a heavy CC deck with wings/OE's/animates and some plagues should set down them pretty well if they use a fractal deck. Been gone most of the weekend and will be gone all day today but i will be back tonight to try to figure out salvages.

I was thinking about combo too, but figured our earth matchups could use those cards. Oh, and I dont think they WILL use fractal, just saying that I'd do it if I was them  I think they will use Discord actually, even though guessing what they will use is a complete stab in the dark.

They can equip 6 of their players with discords, which means there's a very high chance they will use them - I wouldn't be surprised if they took all 18. We will surely see discord/bh decks  as those were a favorite during UW tourney, along with air/water duo. Heck, they could use something like that vs us. Purify for anti poison, toadfishes and freezes for damage and CC.

Of course, if they had to make the vault earlier, they had to make universal choices. Which means anything with discords and graboids, poisons and any other powerful stuff. Without the 50% element limit, they will surely use modified versions of the 'best' decks.

So.. I will compile a list of the decks the UW members used during their tourney. It should help to see what kind of decks they prefer, even if those don't fit their current limitations.
100% they will use BH/Discord. If not against us, someone else.

Seeing that we have an extra day to build decks i am gonna just get some rest tonight. I am pretty beat. But some thoughts i had during the day (yes i think about elements when i'm out and about  )

Aether - the darkness deck you made would probably work well.
Time - this is hard for me to decide on since fractal scarabs is a really nasty deck vs us and the threat of EQ, deflag, or steal decks. Was thinking fractal/lightning or dim shield/lobo (i think we can salvage a lobo or two, i need to check)

Earth - well, tons of decks we can use but i'm thinking we can kinda figure out the decks we will be facing. Our life deck would probably work well in one of these matchups.

Hmmm, interesting. Earth lost with all 3 nova decks they used. I imagine all of those decks are gone. With the hit they took no way they could salvage anything but earth cards. The decks they won with were time decks and a death/earth stall.  All those decks had a few EQ's mixed in and the time decks one was a RT deck and the other had an eternity.

Perhaps one of our decks could use our time cards and use a RT/dial/poison deck.

Anyhow the way i see it we will almost HAVE to use these decks.

Life Deck
2 Aether Decks
1-2 Entropy Decks (Discord/Antimatter, Nova/Graboid)
1-2 Air Decks
Darkness Deck
Time Deck (maybe)

Here is a deck that I am working on for vs. earth.  It was suggested I used the entropy pillars/pendulums to save the death pends for other decks.  This needs much testing and tweaking but my day off has just been interupted by an emergency at work that only I can fix.  If I am not back today I will def be around more tomorrow to continue testing.  In the mean time suggestions are alway welcome.
