Thanks for putting up some deck images.  Here are a few salvage-related comments:

Fractal decks:
Look pretty strongWe have 5 lightnings and no more (can split 3/2 or use all in one deck)We must salvage 6 dim shields and 1 fractal to field the decks as listed.  We can also grab 5 aether pendula (and we have 5 aether pillars in the vault) to make the decks run a bit more smoothly and allow us to manage bone pillars / pendulum balance betterIf we salvage 6 dim shields, we can salvage at most 2 steals, so we are probably better off ignoring all the potential darkness salvage and just optimizing the aether decksWe have 3 viruses and 2 bone walls unused with current decks, which could be used in one of the fractal decks (wish we still had a few soul catchers for DoSA ... we also have 2 plagues
Fire duo:
Looks goodWe have 1 leftover deflag here, but we might as well keep it in vault in case we can salvage some novasWhy not put one more deadly poison in the deck and not upgrade the mummy (unless you are really worried about purifies from UW) ... we have 4 leftover poisons in the vault.
Earth duo:
Arsenics don't really contribute much in the way of win condition here: we will not win without decking them out.  +2 bone walls, +2 plagues, -2 arsenic?

Yeah, if we keep Earth duo against Fire we should take out the arsenics and add them to my deck.  BW and plague both seem like potentially useful replacements.  Good feedback.  Ok I'm going to sleep now.

i like how the decks look, but we should probably salvage more to give us more options next round (e.g., 5x RT, 4x steal, or more conversion to pendula).  Otherwise, even if we win a few games, we could be screwed next round.

I completely agree... only problem is to make these decks i didn't have the luxury in salvaging extra cards (due to pillar/pendulum issues). I had to convert 8 cards into pendulum/pillars and the other 10 salvages had to go to salvaging aether cards (i converted a EQ to make a pendulum as well).

well, we could discard 3 bone dragons and last deflag to salvage 4 reverse times ... I'd expect RTs to be more useful than dragons and/or a single deflag next round.

also, we should split the aether pillars / pends evenly just in slim case of EQs.

Hmmmm... hate to discard death cards especially any creatures. What does everyone else think? Also i will split up the aether pends and pillars up later. Thanks SS!

Have we tested the earth duo against likely fire decks since we made the alterations?  If the results haven't changed materially I think we're significant dogs against their range.  Maybe we should consider a fractal deck instead?

Starting next round we face aether only.  Every match for the rest of War.  So I agree we need to keep some cards hidden; Team Aether does its homework.  And on that note dragons will be les useful going forward against potential lightning.  That said, I'd hate to eliminate any dwindling creatures.  :)  If we have no critters hiding in the vault and (for instance) our fractal decks are our only winners, we have six creatures to divide among next round's decks.

If we're going to test the earth duo, maybe we should consider slimming it a bit to make room for RTs, steals, etc in the vault.

Thoughts?

if we do bring a fractal deck against fire, the bone wall-virus variant with fewer dim shields makes more sense.

As for what we have left in vault, we had better win with the fire duo, or else we will have no PC and no alternate damage sources to get around dim shields.  this is obviously game over.

Instead, we can change the fractal decks a bit (optimizing vs fire) and tweak the salvages a little to get 4 steals (i think more important vs aether than RTs).  We really need PC vs aether next round.

Here is a possible deck set which bring a fractal deck vs fire (instead of the earth duo):

kevkev tested fractal deck vs fire ... he will correct me if i am wrong, but the fractal deck does much better vs all fire decks (excepting sancbolt)

vs :aether #1

Remaining in vault:
    3 x bone dragon4 x steal
so, if both fractal decks die, we will have 5-6 midrange hitters (recluse/mummy), 1-2 arse, 3 bone dragons, and 4 steals for a final deck vs aether
