We get to salvage from this deck. I'm thinking of taking the earth pillars, maybe 4, a deflag and heck i don't even know what else, maybe the jade staff? We don't need that many earth pillars (probably 4 total would be enough and we already have 1). Oh well.. we have time to decide, maybe best just to look at our next matchup first.

The question is how many pillars do i actually need to make a good EQ deck. Dont' want too many. I was also thinking of making a / deck with air splash for fog shields and maybe 1 owl eye.

You dont need much if you want to just use EQs from . If you're not using mark, 3 pillars should be enough, but you'll run into draw problem with trio like this. Thats 5 cards (EQs) that cannot be played without at least one of the 3 pillars drawn. Yet if you take more, you'll have too many for a "cheap" spell like that.
