Haha Shantu, edit your first post, we're against 5 generals and 3 Lts not 5generals and 2 Lts. Well, this is gonna be scary... just tell me where you guys want me to help out and I'll try my best.

Anyway, thinking about decks to go against fire, if there's no other decks that intend to use air duo, could you leave the air cards for fire matchups? I'm thinking reusable CC aka flying OEs would be useful against fire since their creatures are pretty much glass cannons and having multiple CC per turn means phoenix won't be much of a threat either.

We can just fly the OE to go against deflags since it's not too likely for them to pack too many CCs in a single deck against us since a single rage potion will take out our creature in one hit, while OEs can take two each.

Hmmm... never mind, just put this under consideration, their fire bolt+ poison deck looks horribly painful and I doubt a flying OE+ poison deck can outdamage that deck effectively, pretty reliant on RNG.

Edit: Yikes, I thought they lost their EQs but they can salvage them from a win they got last round so they could end up just denying us quanta with EQs.

we could build a death/light duo for one of the matches vs. fire with the reflect shield and miracle.  That would work well vs. a poison/bolt deck or any of their other decks that might have bolts in them.  It's too bad we can't field 2 of them.

If we do a couple of suicides we really should put them against the weakest teams such as Time and Earth.  Tho it would be funny to suicide vs. earth since they did it 3 times to us last round.  If only 1 suicide it should prolly be vs. time tho I think.  Altho, Gravity could also be a decent option for a suicide if you aren't able to find a decent deck to go vs. that charger deck.

We should really push to give a couple of defeats to fire if at all possible since of this rounds opponents they are the most dangerous over the long run.

I'd rather not suicide against any Vaults we can design a counter for.

Speaking of that, a note:

Xdude is testing RoL/Hope deck against Fractal Retrovirii deck (w bonewalls, mummies, arsenic) for several games now. I have no idea why would they think we'd go with fractal retros, though thats one of the best counters from our element there.
Anyway... Light penduli, aether pillars, RoLs, dragons, Hope, Morning star, Miracle. This could be countered by Life stall - Carapace and flying staffs (even with adrenaline). I dont see any CC in his deck.
It would be good to check up on Light fights to see if they have access to Lobo though.

Okay here's a deck to face Xdude and a possible RoL/Hope matchup. A little slow on the quanta pull but i think it will be alright. Those plagues if needed can be swapped out and i can use pendelums instead.

Code: [Select]
52l 52l 52p 52p 52q 542 542 542 542 542 542 542 542 542 542 542 5c3 5c3 5c3 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 713 7n2 7n2 7n2 7n2 7n2

Flying staffs are good. Only possible issue would be not drawing Animates, but thats not likely to happen.

Decks against Fire dont work. Poison kills us as our damage output is not good enough (everything gets killed easily). I would use poisons in one, maybe flying Arsenics, and more damage in other deck.

One deck for fight against :fire :

Other deck for :fire

Code: [Select]
52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52p 52r 52r 52t 52t 52t 542 542 542 55s 55s 55s 55s 55s 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu
Salvages needed for those two deck:
- 7 flying weapons (5 from Coinich, 2 from Istari)
- 5 titans (2 from Legit, 3 from Istari)
- 1 air pend (Istari)

Both decks work against poison bolt deck, which we are hoping to face once at least.

Food poisoning for the lose for me today. Ugh. Still feel pretty crappy.

Anyhow this deck below is just a place setter. Time is gonna be a tough matchup i think. Their decks are gonna be tough to beat.

Time shouldn't be that hard. We know their Vault, which means we can prepare. 90 cards are tight. Some days ago we talked about possible decks in chat, I think they were
 - darkness duo
 - fractal scarab with pharaohs as scarab source
 - something else I can't remember

Hey Shantu. Well it looks like these are the decks we will face from time. Darkness duo, Fire duo, Aether/fractal/dim shield or EQ deck. All suck pretty hard. They also have a bunch of heavy hitting creatures.

Anyways i made 2 fractal decks which might work but with our limited options i didn't really know what else to do considering i think we will face heavy PC decks. I suicided against Earth. If we had more death cards i would have loved to make a stall deck with the light cards but alas we only have 12 death cards left after the 8 decks. Finding 42 cards to get rid of really blew but had to be done (12 for conversions).

Air(Pervepic) - This deck should do okay vs virtually all of their. The flying EE deck, fractal/wings, Dragon/Miracle, Phoenix/Deflag and EQ/shrieker deck it should do okay against. The EQ deck we have 3 stacks of pillars so basically you see earth you play your pillars smart. Talked to Pervepic tonight and he said they need to suicide somewhere and he was considering suiciding vs us. I told him we definitely weren't suiciding vs him and were going to definitely use a good deck vs him. I highly doubt he would suicide but might as well have him consider it.

As always i altered the decks a little bit to make everything work. Anyhow the vault/google doc are all updated and if you guys want to change up the decks tomorrow that is fine too. I will be on tomorrow night to check on everything as well. Also the suicide deck and salvages can also be changed if you guys like.

hmmm upon more thinking maybe against perv the EQ deck might work better. That bonewall/flying EE deck could be trouble. Ugh not sure.
