General matchup thoughts
Six of our eight matchups are teams we faced last round.  As a rule, teams prepare against what they’ve already seen, especially if they lost the previous matchup.  Nobody wants to take a grabby deck against Wings if they just took a grabby deck against Wings and got their face mashed in.  Because teams (at least partially) prepare for what they’ve seen, we should take something very different where possible.  On the flip side we should not assume we’ll see previous decks.  (The big exception is if Entropy, for instance, thinks they can beat every possibility with one deck.)
Regarding the Event Card
Six extra salvage is a big deal at this point in the War, and the surprisingly liberal use of the Event Card last round hints that we may see use this round as well.  We should expect to see some monos, but I also feel we should consider a couple monos ourselves.  It’s not a slam dunk, in part because we showed two monos last round and so opponents will already be preparing for them, but…

Mrblonde vs RR - EQ deck should handle the majority of decks they will field. 6 upped spiders, 6 EQ's, 2 arsenics, bonewalls, dragons, maybe plagues.

xdude vs Jen-i (time) - Pandabonium or dim stall fractal.

A nice idea, I dont think we can spare the immo deck here anyways.

From what we have seen, they have used mostly Bows, I think a Vulture Bow would be better.

Marv vs Mith (darkness) - Deflag deck.
Here I think my Rain of Fire/ Vulture could work wonders.

Discord-BH is interesting.  EQs would be better used vs Aether.

Stall is ok, but we better make it phatter than their likely stall.

DoSA looks great here.

ICB vs GG (gravity) - Rewind deck
xdude's mumbow could work well here w/ a few rewinds and deflags (dropping the lightning, shockwave, etc).

Xnoize vs Kaker (earth) - air deck with wings/shockwaves
immo deck here.  Using wings vs earth seems predictable, and the air deck will not fare well against EQs (which Earth will be packing in most decks).

SS vs Willing3 (aether) - Darkness duo
EQ deck would be well placed here, e.g. http://helltgivre.free.fr/elements/?deck=z34vjz152qz352tz8542z3590z45935f65og8pm.  Most likely aether decks will be crippled by EQ.

Marv vs Mith (darkness) - Deflag deck.
A simple rewind deck.  Fire/death could work w/ RoF in case of fractal devourer, but might struggle against a number of the decks fielded by darkness in round one, e.g. Vader Sader, quinted vampire dragons, nightmare-GotP, even the inefficient accelerating voodoo dolls.

1st, congratz all, we did well in 1st round. 5-3, and using just 2 cards from Vault in Event card. 2nd, sorry for not being active last 2 days, had some problems.

Water: I suppose they are going to try speed poison. At least, most teams are afraid of Bone Wall, so my bet would be speed poison and some purifies in the case we also use poison. If we go for normal mummies or spiders, there is permafrost, so I suppose Discord-BH would be good.

Light: I dont doubt they could try the same deck but packing some Miracles this time. Although they could also go for a stall. A stall really could get it done, although a quanta denial like BH-Discord would also be good.

Time: I think they could use that Dune Scorpion stall the most, or Nightmare and GotP. I think some bonewalls, viruses and poison could work. Cheap cards and poison damage vs turtle shield and sundial. Should use some defrags in case they come with crusaders.

Life: their last deck was a bit slow, this costed the game. I assume they will come with more raw power now, so really Dosa could work well.

Gravity: looks like they do not have enough fast decks. Looks like immo deck would be good here. If not avaliable, a bow deck. Needs Steal if possible, they could use Dim Shield.

Earth: looks easy to predict (graboid, EQ, BB...) hard to counter. Immo deck doesnt looks that good here, but dunno what does.

Aether: the fastest deck they have is immo deck, but I suppose they wont use it against us, lol. I would bet in something like the bow they used vs. Earth. Maybe BH could be better than EQ. PC can also be handy.

Darkness: looks very hard to predict. Deflag deck? What deck are you expecting them to use, General?

Mono-water is pretty likely. Rav is a fan of that deck, the water vault is notoriously mono-heavy, and they used the last Event Card a fair amount. A poison deck or a Light duo stall are both possibilities as well. If we think mono-death can outrush those decks (light on poison, heavy on critters), I say go for it. If not, maybe splash either ragepots/deflags or lightnings?

They won't mono against us. I think xdude's comments in the Round1 Light vs Death battle thread will force Light to build a (partial, at least) counter to fractal recluse. For that reason a Wings deck is possible. More likely though is a stall duo with ice bolts and purifies, fire bolts and fire shields, or stoneskins. Atm I think EQ could be the way to go but a mono with splashed PC doesn't seem crazy wrong either.

Most likely deck imo is the momentum dunescorp they used vs Aether last round.  The only cc they really used last round was RTs.  I think a mono mummy might be the way to go.  It outrushes the dunescorp deck and mono-time, also a possibility.

Daxx vs wavedash (Lt.)
My first thought was they could go mono with adrens and pray we don't take cc.  I could definitely see wizel and wave making that decision.  I could still see FFQ/hope or healbolt, but they also have a surprising amount of gravity in the vault and forest spectres/purify makes sense too.  Best I think to take a well rounded deck like a grabbow.

Possible decks: mono catapult armaggios/massive dragons, grabow (they have 2), fractal chargers (their only R1 win), D/BH.  Grabows are the least likely.  GG didn't use fractal chargers at all last War, a fact jmdt commented on repeatedly.  Right now I'm leaning towards salvaging sancs and using the deck below.  That should beat D/BH and probably the mono deck but not fractal chargers.  Our D/BH would beat the mono and fractal chargers but not their D/BH.  And it'd be hilarious to play but we wouldn't want to lose those cards to them.  Meh.

xn vs:earth Kakerlake (Gen)
I like DoSA here.  A lot.  You beat grabby rush and a bigger deck means you'll have time to fractal dragons against a SS deckout.  Ship it.

Higs noted in chat this round that it's nice to have a standalone mono element, which I strongly suspect is a bluff.  They used the Event Card only one time last round.  I think they're going to use very different decks this round and they'll hope to capitalize on others using mono.  We'll need either PC or QC.  I like either a darkness duo with steals (skip the dusks) or D/BH.  D/BH > pestal if they decide to go that way.

Marvaddin vs Mithcairion
They used the Event Card a good amount last round but my hunch is we're unlikely to see a mono out of Mith.  I said last round that pestal and grabow were both possibilities from Darkness and wanted to recommend the immo deck but couldn't.  Let me remedy that here.

i don't think going mono is a smart choise in here , i think immobow can do nice.

i think the time/death deck we have is nice, think it can work nicely.Pandabonium is a great choice as well.

i think theres a high possibility that they will go BH/discord, bonewalls and rush might be the way, no idea really.

DoSa? really?, EQ smashes me too the crap, if it was hard too keep up with entropy's bow when it has 2 EQ, i really don't want to use it against earth, i think mono , or wings deck  wont be too bad.
