I played agains level 5 several times. I found this effect very often with 7/7 immortal crusader with used endow (eternity or pulverizer). It was suck I got 2/2 skeleton with immortal skill.
I was very unlucky if it has .5/HP chance. I think with this new skill it is undercosted compare with Thorn Carapace/Spine Carapace.

Is it true that Elite creatures turn into Elite Skeletons and normal creatures become normal skeletons?

It won't be changed. It will stay the same because it has GREAT synergy with Alfatoxin.

Aaaaanyway, this card is now decent and annoying. Just the thing Death needed. No more is Death just a slow and painful demise for your creatures. Now it's sudden and unpredictable, just as it should be!

Just playin, goes great in my  deck if my enemy thinks using a fire bolt/ice bolt/Lighting/Poison/Thunderstorm on my Otyugh! My Otyugh shall nom foerever!

Even with 7 Hp, a creature has 7,14%, to turn into a skeleton.

Hummmm, a great card to put on an anti FG deck....

This card kills my phoenixes about 80% of the time and even if I weren't unlucky it'd be 50%. They don't spawn ashes like normal either. In short, this card kills my deck almost completely.

50/HP% seems way too much, even in other cases. 20-30/HP% would probably be fair enough.

Skull Shield is effective at killing only Phoenixes, and occasionally late Lava Golems.  Everything else it sucks at, and if a Lava Golem survives its first turn its usually there until the end of the game.

You forgot spiders! If you have the healing you can get rid of spiders nicely too. At least phase ones.

I really like this card. The AI just Parallel universed a 11/11 Forest spirit from me, put on two or three (unupped) plate armors, then with 17/20 hp (i didn't see) got turned into a skeleton
